You stood nervously waiting for your wife to come home from war. Your best friend camila standing by your side.
"Camz" you whispered tears coming into your eyes.
She pulled you into a hug.
"She'll be here Y/N I promise" she whispered before letting you go.
You waited for about 20 minutes before you let your tears flow down your cheeks. Camila grabbed your arms and held you out at arms length.
"Y/N please relax she'll be here soon" camila soothed while rubbing your shoulder.
"Camila you don't know that!" You sobbed as camila sat you both on a bench.
"Just wait" she whispered.
You say nervously before you saw another bus pull into the area. You then saw lauren come out of the bus. You stood up and ran over to her as she dropped her bag.
"Lauren!" You cried as you ran into her arms and she picked you up.
"I missed you so much" you sobbed into her shoulder.
She rubbed your back and kissed your head lightly. She set you down and you smiled.
"I missed you" she whispered before crashing her lips to yours. You kissed her back missing those lips that you haven't kissed in over 6 months. You noticed camila had gone home.
You looked her in the eyes and she wiped your tears.
"It's okay honey I'm here" she whispered and pulled you into her arms. You hugged her as tight as you can, you never wanted to let her go ever again.
"Please don't go again" you whispered near tears once more.
She pulled you out of her chest to look at you. She shook her head.
"I'm not baby I'm not, this was my last time" she smiled and wiped away your tears.
She kissed your lips softly.
"Please sweetheart stop crying" she whispered as she kissed under both your eyes trying to rid the tears.
You took a deep breath and wiped your tears away with shaky hands. She took her hands in yours and you noticed your hands shaking extremely in Lauren's. Your eyes started to fill with tears and you let out a strangled sob.
"Oh Y/N" she whispered and pulled you into her chest. You sobbed into her chest as she rubbed your back soothingly.
"Please baby don't cry I'm here I'm not leaving you" she whispered.
"I thought something happened to you, I thought you were never coming home!" You sobbed ever harder.
"Oh sweetheart, I'm home I'm not leaving again i promise" she whispered pulling you out of her chest to look at you.
"Promise?" You sighed wiping your eyes.
"Promise" she whispered before crashing her lips to yours.
