"Good morning Los Angeles! For those of you who've just tuned in, I'm Ryan Seacrest and we have Ginny Henderson in the studio with us this morning," he smiled at me and winked. "The song that just played is Wake Me Up by Avicii... do you like Avicii?"
I smiled and shrugged. "I don't know, I guess I do like them..." Trust Ryan to put me on the spot. "I'm guessing you do."
"I like anything that makes me dance," he admitted, smiling coyly. "How are you? I haven't seen you sitting on that chair in over a year!"
"Well I'm back," I laughed. "It's good to be back, I missed you so much!" I flipped my hair and giggled.
"Well you've been too busy being a bad girl," he narrowed his eyes and although I knew he was only kidding, I couldn't help but feel a little nervous.
"I have?" I arched an eyebrow. "What have I done?"
"Yeah, totally!" he nodded his head. "The last time you came here, you promised to come regularly but instead you've been running around the USA reaping havoc."
I gave him a cheeky smile. "Well you know me," I giggled. "Always up to no good... Ryan, you know I would love to come onto your show every week but it's impossible with my schedule. I've been shooting, red carpets and well... I've been busy trying to balance everything!"
"You've been in the news a lot lately for your sobriety and love life," he smirked at me and my heart rate increased. "Where to start?"
"Sobriety?" I gave him a weak smile. "I don't know..."
"I don't mind starting with the sobriety. What was the deal with the Teen Choice Awards and the club incident?"
"The Teen Choice Awards one is easy, I was nervous," I said this with a straight face. "I was presenting the first award of the evening for God's sake - also it was my first award show in a while - I was nervous out of my mind. There was a lot of pressure from a lot of people, including myself to be perfect..." I chuckled. "So I got on stage and I was thinking a lot. I was thinking about not messing up, I was thinking about the cameras that were all pointed at me... getting the name of the winner right..."
Ryan laughed quietly. "That's a lot of thinking."
"I know right!" I shook my head. "In all that thinking I wound up screwing everything up... story of my life though, right? I didn't mean to and well, everyone's been giving me such grief about it. I'm human people, I make mistakes, I'm not the girl I was last year." I'm worse. "Why would I be drunk at a kid's show?"
"We've cleared the Teen Choice incident, now let's talk about the club..."
I covered my eyes and groaned.
"The club... well for starters I know I wasn't supposed to be at the club but I went to hang out with my sober friends to celebrate their successes," I used my hands for emphasis. "I'm a klutz, everyone knows that I am and well I tripped. Luckily I did have someone to help me."
A cheeky smile crept onto his face, not a good look coming from Ryan. "Who's that someone?"
"A friend," I said causally. I had this.
"We want names Ginny! Tell us his name," he laughs. "We're gonna ask you anyway so you might as well tell us. And I just want to mention that this certain friend of hers is standing outside the studio."
My eyes widened, I didn't believe it. He'd told everyone.
"Yeah, the friend is in studio with us."
"I don't know what you're talking about Seacrest!"
"You don't?"
I shook my head.
