"DJ and Destiny! Get y'all ass up. I told y'all to go to bed on time last night. Now you don't want to get up." Anastasia yelled.
"Mama! Why you doing all that hollering. We gonna make it to school. We do drive you know." Destiny said.
"Girl I will knock your ass out. I don't give a damn if you drove or rode the bus. I said get your ass up. Now up."
Destiny got out the bed and blew air out her mouth.
"Damn mama be tripping man. I wish I knew my dad man." She mumbled to herself.
"What did you say little girl?" Anastasia said.
"Nothing mama dang."
DJ got up and stretched. He walked to his shower and took care of his hygienes. He got dressed and put on all his accessories to make his outfit. Anastasia walked in to fuss at him but saw he was dressed.
"I was just about to get that ass but you already up and ready."
"Ma Dukes I'm always ready baby." He said laughing.
Anastasia hit his arm.
"You such a clown. You act, look, walk, and talk like your father." She said kind of sadly.
"Ah mama don't do that. I know you miss him and you had to raise us by yourself. But you did a amazing job. And I'm sure pops would be proud of the woman you are."
"Thanks baby. Now hurry your ass up so y'all can get to that school."
DJ kissed his mom cheek and grabbed his book bag. He walked down the steps and grabbed a apple to eat and a bottle of apple juice.
"Come on Dessie damn. You make me late again I'm beating your ass." He said.
"DJ if I tell you about your mouth one more time I'm gonna knock your damn teeth out." Anastasia said.
"Man Ma Dukes you cant be doing that. I got to smile for the ladies." He said playing with his chin hair and cheesing.
"I'm coming now boy. I had to do my makeup." Destiny said.
"That's why you get your ass up on time. Now y'all go. I'll see y'all later. I love you and be careful." Anastasia said.
"We love you too mama." They said in unison.
They all got in the car and headed their directions.
"DJ are you stopping by to pick up Kingston or you dropping me off?"
"Girl that nigga cant get in my shit. I have to deal with that when you drive." DJ said rolling his eyes.
"So that's how it is? I pick your girl up."
"That's different. Y'all best friends. Matter of fact call her to meet us at the corner."
Destiny takes her phone out and called Princess.
"Hello girl. Where you at? We at the corner." Destiny said.
"I'm almost there. You know mama was all in my ass."
