In the previous chapter:"What way did they go" she asked. Brian pointed towards the path and explained to Brianna why they came here in the first place, after a lot of convincing, the two pairs set off to find Tobias and Tina.

Tina was laughing out loud with Toby at around the small campfire. Toby, had five blueberries stuck between the gash of his face, he wanted to see how many he could fit inside of it. Soon the happiness of the two calmed down. Tina was glowing with the radiant sun pushing its rays on her face, the light softly reflecting from the goggles that were placed upon her face. The mouthguard hung loosely over her neck. In all honesty, she looked extremely beautiful that day, everyone would have noticed. Although our Tobias Rogers saw her as one of his closest friends instead. The thought of any attraction to her seemed delusional. Soon the sun started to set, and the fire only flicked soft embers from the pit of ash, a soft breeze ever so often passed both Tina and Toby. Tina yawned softly, emphasizing her tiredness from the long and very confusing day. Tina rested her head gently upon Toby's shoulder and soon fell asleep, the stars seemed to bright up in the night sky. Loneliness, it was something that Toby had felt his entire life, he always thought that no one would be able to understand his emotions, because no one lived through it, but here she is, the only person that Toby knew so far that does. Toby smiled at the sleeping girl, he picked her up and carried her into a tree, tying her to it with some rope he had found earlier, to ensure her from falling. Toby smiled a goofy grin, then went to a separate tree and closed his eyes, drifting to his world of safety, his dreams. Although tonight it would be very different.

Toby woke up, everything still dark, he looked around and about but saw nothing. Not a tree, nor rock, nor sky. It waa as if the world had became a pitch black void. The hooded male then caught a glimpse of something. He hesitantly approached it, proceeding with caution. Soon a shadow was seen, then color, finally the full figure was seen, it was Tina, but why didn't she move? Toby only saw the back of her head, so he gently tapped her, then sobs were heard from the feminine proxy. He moved in front of her to comfort her,but then instantly regrets it. Tina had a gash on her leg, a cut on her upper lip, some blood tricking down her neck. Although this was scary, the most frightening thing was on her stomach, Toby's hatchet, the one back at the mansion, was hanging from her stomach, the girl tried to take it out but screamed in the pure pain. Blood was trickling down the enormous gash. The girl looked up and made eye contact with Toby, soon a quiver of words came from her mouth. Then a soft whisper, finally an ear piercing scream was let out, she sat on the ground, frantically kicking her legs in the air. Then the word that made Toby's heart shatter, a single word that would change everything. As Tina began to go limp, her breath carried out her last words "You monster" the brightness from her eyes disappeared and her body went limp. As if the breath was loud enough, it echoed in the void, Toby dropped to his knees and began to cry, cry over Tina's dead body. Crying because he didn't know what to do anymore, he couldn't go back, but he also couldn't go on without her. Suddenly, he woke up with a cold sweat.
