Looking at the statistics in my hand that contain information about the pack strength and reputation I come to the conclusion that during these past five years, the pack strength has not grown one bit, if anything everyone has been slacking off and getting weak, and to top it off my mother hasn't really talked much to me, my father or anyone much after the rejection. This has taken a toll on me, my family and my pack. Blowing down I got up from my chair in my office, and go outside to see how my son and daughter are doing. As soon as I exit the house through the back door, I was ambushed by my son Natan, " Dada, up" as I look at my cute little three year old, I do as he asked and lift him up. " Where's your sister and mother" I asked him, looking around as he point toward the left side of the house, "there they are" he reply.
Walking towards them, I notice a letter was in Tiffany hand. "What's that" I asked as I put my son down who was starting to wiggle around in my hand, as soon as he was down he run to where my father was, "can you believe it, it's an invitation letter to a grand ball from alpha McKnight, and the guess of honor is the alpha of Dark Frost" Tiffany said, " are you serious, the assassination pack that no one know about" I asked as I take the letter out of her hand to see for myself. "Yes Cross, and it will be held in the town over at Coral View on the 10th of December" she said excitingly as she bounce Taya our one year old daughter on her hip, who start reaching for me. " That's five months away" I reply. "I know, it will give us ample time to get ready" she reply as she pass a fussy Taya to me and went to tell the news to the pack members who were outside.
"Why do I have a feeling that something unexpected is going to happen " Sean said, "what do you mean Sean" I asked, " just a nagging feeling I get every time I heard about the alpha of that clan, let's just hope everything goes well" Sean said as his presence disappear once again. After that day we woke up he don't act like he used to anymore, at the moment only 70 percent of his strength I can utilize and only 100 percent if we are in deep shit. The pack doctor, my family, betas and friends we all know it had to with the rejection and the fact that I only reject Fross but not his wolves whereas all of them rejected me. Thinking about it only make me feel more depressed as Sean would whimper. Now back to the present, Sean soon even more down today after hearing about that alpha again and the ball, "Hmm, maybe it's a wolf thing, or the thought of being around so much supernatural being, let him feel that way" I said to my self as I tickle my daughter.
It was now the day of the Grand ball and what can I say, they went all out after all its not everyday you get to see so much supernatural being one place, and the dark frost clan that no has ever had the pleasure of seeing before on such an occasion. As I enter the premises, I take my time to admire the building, the outside was just as beautiful as the inside.
