I don't know who to choose

Annabeth was so emotional after I told her what had happened. I get she doesn't understand any of it but then again neither do I. I rarely see her like this and it's not how I want to see my girlfriend. But then again I've got feeling for an immortal goddess who would never love me anyway.

My 'brother' wants to show me what he calls the truth but I don't know if I can trust him. Then he's making me choose between Annabeth and Artemis and I don't know if I can do that. I want to know that whoever I choose will be safe but also the other and I don't think Danny would do that. He called me his big brother too and the only younger brother I was aware of was Tyson. At be this someone my dad was on about is Danny. But then how can I be sure.

"Percy! What is going on? First you dissappear and then you are half carrying Annabeth over here. Is there something we need to talk about?"

"I hate to say it but yes we need to talk and I don't want anyone overhearing any of it,"

"Very well child let us go into my office,"

I told Chiron everything that had happened from this afternoon when I confessed to Annabeth about Artemis. I told him about everything my father and Danny said too.

"Percy, I think you know this but I think you need to see Rachel. I know you probably don't want a quest but I fear it is the only thing you can do,"

What a fat load of help that was then. I took Annabeth with me and she seemed to have fallen asleep. I think I'll take her to her cabin before I see Rachel. Annabeth needs to rest and she doesn't need the pressure of me probably going on another quest. I'll leave a message with Malcom for her. I know he'll tell her what I'm doing, he always does. But for me, I've got a date with the Oracle.

More pressing matters are that I have five hours to choose who I want Danny to protect. I don't even know of I can take his word for it yet. I guess that's why he wants me to trust him. I really don't know who I'll end up choosing.
