"Will pledge your allegiance to me?"

"I can't! My allegiance is already to Annabeth,"

"Then maybe killing her will make you think twice,"

It's been like this for hours. I've been poisoned, stabbed, broken. I don't even want to think about what I did to Annabeth. I didn't even realise I was doing it until after I'd done it. How can she stay with me after all of this. I'm a monster.

I've beaten her

I've drowned her

I...I've got to kill her...

I don't even remember how I got here. All my recent memories are blurred together. The only thing I know for certain is that Danny swore on the River Styx that Annabeth would be safe. And...and now I'm the one who's not keeping her safe. I'm the one killing her.

"Please...Please...make it stop...I...I can't..."

"Pledge allegiance to me and all of this will stop,"

"I'll..I'll...do it...just...just...tell me...what to say,"

"Repeat after me: I pledge my allegiance to my Lord End for all eternity,"

"I pledge my...allegiance to...my Lord End...For all eternity,"

"Well done, you may rest for the night, you have a long day tomorrow,"

I'm not sure resting is a good idea. I think I'll end up with my worst nightmares yet.

The darkness seemed to be retreating. I...I don't understand. How can darkness move? And then I saw Annabeth. I hadn't beaten or drowned her. She was here. And she was kissing my brother...

Hey guys. I'm terribly sorry for not updating as much as I would've liked. I've had writers block and yeah I've only just thought of how to carry on writing. But I'm hoping I'll be able to update every other day as my Divergent Fanfiction has become daily and I'm uploading my own story as well.
