Now I know i've mentioned being picky about the chick being strong and not a pushover and weak basically. When you first read this story, she might not seem like the strongest protaganist and super insecure, which she is. But I feel like Emily, as a character, is strong in her own way and I feel like there isn't a single main character in this book that you would not like. And I also particulary like the way the author has dealt with serious issues such as Anorexia and self-harm. She hasn't glorified or dismissed them in any way, and treated them with the appropriate respect.
