Medival teacher don't really do it for me. Maybe I'm biased, since father only hired one specific man, and he is the only teacher-like figure I actually see. But he is suppppeeerrrr strict, and sometimes doesn't know what he's talking about.
I'm not saying he is dumb, per say. Just a little... socially inept? No... Asocial may be the term. You can tell he puts his work into more academic studies rather than socializing, there is nothing wrong with that. Just.
When you can't balance both in your life, you are going to have to understand that you don't have everything under control. Since the movement in society is dependant on communication, no man is an island. Of course you would need to balance both to be able to have a firm grasp of everything.
He doesn't have a firm grasp on anything social though, thus his teachings are a little baren.
He can't answer situational questions, only mathmatical ones. When he does answer the academic ones, he does it good.
Understand if your going to teach someone, calling them stupid, an idiot, or a retard. Isn't going to work in the long run, most cases. A less abusive way of teaching is a better one for the long term.
We are talking long term here, short terms are for grubs.
Sure, abuse can lead to good grades in the short term. But it leads to the student feeling of being trapped and not actually wanting to learn nor study anymore in the long term.
Being a good teacher with a happier out look is better like this, especially when you are teaching only one child. You have more time to understand and learn how to teach a young lass if it is only her.
My mentor/ teacher is a prime example of what to avoid. Amazing academics, terrible social skills. Social skills is eveything, understanding is everything. Doesn't mean you should under go shit though, you have to pick up the que's when you should stop someone when they are full of shit.
Which brings us to our main point for today's lesson, Education is shit, and the only reason good things were made was because the people who made them wanted to prove everyone else in their school wrong.
Why do you think so many people drop out of school? I mean, you don't necessarly have to drop out of school. A lot of parent expect you not to, because they were molded into thinking grades mean everything. Look at them now, sad and never achived anything. They are the normies people who won't be remembered.
But then again, maybe that is good. For advancment. I don't know what would happen if people were to always achive sometning over their lifetime. It would probably be treated normal and you would expect everyone of that, which is fucked up.
If kindness was a social norm, and wasn't traded off as a unique trait anymore. Would everyone be push-overs?
In conclusion, I've found out, society is fucked either way. No one cares, no one should care. Humanity is doomed. This essay is finished.

Staring at the paper, my mentor is over at the front with a board and talking. The feather ink pen sploshed dark splashes at the thin paper as I attempt to black out everything. It was both an intresting experience, and a one where you only do when you a bored. No one would dip ink on the ink dipper and splash that ink tip around like a bad boy in a normal concentrated way as if it ment anything.
The essay, or whatever random thought bubble that decided to match wits in paper that was, went everywhere but the point I was trying to make. Was there even a point? I think I was just bored of the Mentor Man's talk over topics I know about.
