I ended up in a gold and white bedroom. As soon as the door swung open, I hid in the closet. I watched Lia and a dark skinned man walk in. They warmly embraced each other.

"How'd you sleep last night?" The man asked.

Lia sighed. "Roe, a huge bird shrieked outside the window. So, it was terrible."

"We can sleep in the guestroom if you want. Maybe it won't be over there."

"Hopefully, that guestroom is soundproof."

"Baby, I can't promise that."

They left the room laughing. To be honest, I laughed too. I slowly came out of the closet, and sat on the bed. A large brown and white bird with beady eyes was perched on the tree outside. I moved back when it morphed into a bald white man. Not just any bald white man, but Niles? For real?

The moment Phil scowled through the window, I vanished. No. That creep have the same face as Niles. I let out a sigh of relief when the he sat on broke, making him fall.

After the window flew open, I ran out the damn door. Phil tiptoed out of the room, wiping tears off his face. Surprisingly, he hadn't reacted when he looked in my direction. I stayed at the other end of the hall. He gritted his teeth.

"She should be with me, not him. I'm going to make her realize that."

He wiped his eyes and clenched his fists. I followed him to downstairs to the kitchen. He poured some white powder from a tiny vial into the milk and wine.

While he was putting the vial back in his jacket, Lia and Roe were talking in the living room. I headed to the white fridge, but everything faded to black.

I wake up to Selena and Amber staring at me curiously. They move back to let me sit up. Phil and Niles' resemblance had to be the weirdest coincidence ever. Why did the inside of Lia's house resemble Orion's so much? Selena shares a glance with Amber before opening her mouth to speak.

"Do you have any questions?" Selena suggests.

I cross my legs. "Why does Phil look so much like Niles? Why does Lia's house look the same as Orion's on the inside?"

"Whoa, slow down. Both men are related. You'll have to figure out the answer to the second question yourself."

"Why do these weird things keep happening?"

Selena holds my hand in hers, staring at my tattoo. I look at her, waiting for an answer. Whatever she's trying to keep from me, I will find it out soon.

"That's the kind of attitude you need to complete your three missions. Just like the other angels." She informs me.

Selena looks at my face for once. Wait a minute. It almost makes sense now. But how does she know all this? We literally just met over the weekend. Amber grins nervously. I wonder why.

"Okay, okay! I knew 'Selena' before that party. She kept a close eye on us." She blurts.

That can't be possible. She has never mentioned Selena before. While Amber paces around the room, Selena holds her hand out and the silver backpack levitates right into her grasp.

She takes out a white crystal pen and holds it up. Amber stops pacing long enough to gaze at it. Selena touches the tip with her finger.

"Does this look familiar?"

I nod. For a few seconds, I close my eyes and an image of the pen being held over my wrist comes to my mind. When I open them, Amber and Selena stared at me. I can't believe I don't remember that night. What's wrong with me?

Selena giggles. "Nothing is wrong with you, Ella. It will take time for all your memories to return."

"Why did you give me the tattoo?" I ask.

"You requested it, and so did Ambrosia."

Amber stands in front of us. "Why don't you show Nyx the backyard?"

"Of course."

I walk toward the door, but Amber grabs my hand. Selena grabs my other hand, and we end up on a hilltop behind the castle. The wind blows padt us as Selena briefly turns to face a forest. She smiles.

I break the silence. "What now, Selena?"

"Call me Luna. We can help you practice your powers until you have control of them," she answers. "Follow my lead."

When she vanishes, I do the same. Amber looks around on the hilltop. I run down the hill to the round and green wooden door. As I catch my breath Luna tattoo on my shoulder. I turn around, but of course I can't see her. She laughs.

You're doing good so far. But we will practice more tomorrow. Bye.

"Okay see you tomorrow." I say.

We become visible again, ending up on the hilltop. Amber smiles and gives me a high five. When we look in Luna's direction, she is gone. Even when we returned to the bedroom, she isn't there. Soon, we end up back in Amber's car.
