Dad never really filled me and Minion on everything that happened after the explosion or what caused it. I was mostly happy that he was okay and no serious damage was done to the lair. Dad's biggest concern was finding out who was the guy we shot, so we hopped in the invisible car and followed the Metro One news van to a cheap apartment complex under a highway.
My father and I observed the chubby redhead guy, me from the backseat and Dad in the passenger. Meanwhile, Minion was doing some internet research."So who is this man we have infused with god-like powers?" Dad asked.
Minion pulled up a sort of in depth profile page with a very awkward photo of him,
"Well Sir his name is Hal Stewart. He is 28, no criminal record. Actually, no records at all!"I looked at the page over his shoulder, "Wow, not even a high school diploma. From the looks of it, this guy is a certified loser."
Dad had his face pressed against the window looking at Hal with determination, "That all changes today."
Minion reached back and grabbed the Infusion Gun beside me, "So I'll just go ahead and defuse him since this is clearly a mistake."
"No Minion! There's something much more powerful at work here." Dad grabbed the gun from him and tossed it next to me in the back, "It's no mistake… it's destiny."
"I don't know about that. We don't know this guy.""Tracy my darling, trust me!" He looked at me with this crazed look him his eyes. Excitable like a kid about to fire his first Dehydration Gun. I know when he has that look we are at the point of no return.

Dad shoots the door into splinters and rushed in the apartment, "Hal Shtewart! Prepare for your destiny!" I follow in, Minion behind with a spare door. As he installs that, my father and I look around. It was a tiny studio apartment littered with pizza boxes, dirty laundry and video games. Hal wasn't in sight.
"Hal Shtewart?" Dad looked at me and Minion, "An I saying it right?
"Stewart." Minion corrected and pulled down the fold up bed to reveal a terrified Hal.
Hal clutched a pillow and backed up to the wall, "Is this a robbery? 'Cause the lady across the Hall has way better stuff than me."
I scoffed, "I bet."
"Quick, Minion. The spray." Dad ordered.
"We used the last of it on Roxie." I informed.
"Well then used the Forget-me Stick."
"Oh, right!" Minion put a black mini-bat and swung Hal hard him the face. He fell to the bed immediately.
The three of us look down at the unconscious man, Dad with more enthusiasm than me and Minion both, "Just look at him."
"He doesn't look like the hero type." Minion stated, "It's never too late to have Tracy fetch--"
"Oh, your such a pill, Minion." Dad turned and the bed folded up back into the wall, "A Potter couldn't ask for finer clay." He took a deep breath and turned to me, "Do you smell that, Tracy? I smell a hero."
I scowl, "Really, 'cause I smell dude."
Minion sniffed, "I smell something burning." We all turn back to the fold up bed, which was admitting yellow smoking light.
"I think it's working!" Dad yelled, "places!"
I had a tracksuit on coming in, so all I really had to do was tie my hair back and put on a sweatband. Minion put on a fanny pack, a curly blonde wig, and a flowery apron that read 'Kiss the Cook!'. Meanwhile, Dad had the Disguise Generator Watch, so all he had to do was a line the settings and he appeared as a tiny, old man in a spaced suit."So are you sure about my face not being covered up?" I ask my father.
"You wear a mask most of the time, it's not like he will notice." I shrugged. Hal obviously was the sharpest tool in the box. I just had some kind of feeling since Hal was shot. Good or bad, my dad would still go through with this.
The wall burst with Hal's arms embedded in them and the bed folded down. His clothes were tightly stretched around his now muscular body. Dad stepped forward,
"Rise, my glorious creation. Rise and come to papa!"
"What's going on?" Hal looked at himself in amazement, then at my father, "Who are you?"
"I sent you to this planet to teach you about justice, honor and nobility. I am your father."
"So your like… my space dad?"
Dad paused but rolled with it, "Yeah, I'm like your space dad."
"And you two are… what?" Hal asked, looking at me and Minion.
"Well I am your space… stepmom." Minion said and fluffed his wing, "I've had some work done recently."
"So does that make you my space sister?"
I scoff, "No. I am your trainer. Duty bound by my cosmic goodwill to guide you down the noble and honorable path to be the next greatest hero!" Hal gave me a blank look and I sigh, "Just… call me Trina."
He nods, "I-Is this some kind of dream?"
"This is a dream come true." Dad said and grabbed Hal's hand, "You have been blessed with unfathomable power."
Now he gave Dad a blank look, "What kind of power?"
"Unfathomable. It's without fathom." Hal is stunned, "Yes, we've come to guide you on your path to be Metrocity's new hero and battle the super genius Megamind."
While Dad explained it all, Minion grabbed a mirror and I grabbed an old magazine with Metro Man on the front and ripped his head off. We placed them in front of Hal, the magazine positioned under his head's reflection to show that this is what he could become. He was eating it up.
Dad turned away, "I know this is a lot to take in. It may take months for you to come to grips with--" Hal cut him off but getting so excited and flying through the wall and into the street. The three of us looked out the hole to see Hal dancing around with a car around him. Once again dad looked Hal with hopeful eye while Minion and I share a look of uncertainty. Hopefully we could get this guy sane enough to know how to save people and not burn their faces off.
