<Alice’s POV>

“Happy birthday, Alice!”

I shot awake and bonked heads with my brother. I rubbed it and looked around smiling at the happy faces of everyone in the Phantomhive mansion. Even the Earl himself was standing by Danny and pushing a cart of delicious smelling breakfast food.

“Wow! Thank you guys so much. Bard this smells and looks amazing.” He smiled bashfully.

“Relax, miss, I only buttered the toast. Someone else took over after that...” I jammed a thumb in Sebastian’s direction. I giggled a little when the said man smirked.

“We brought you flowers and tea from London!” Mey-Rin and Finny pushed a bundle of flowers into my face. “The tea is in the kitchen.”

“It’s all the way from America, so exciting isn’t it.” Mey-Rin almost shrieked. I smiled and thanked her, letting the room get silent. I was very grateful but, I haven’t been able to go to the city, I’ve been stuck here in the country-side. I have never even left this estate.

Snake walked forward and smiled a little, the biggest I’ve ever seen at least. “Happy Birthday… says Oscar.”

He handed me a small hairclip, it was silvery, light blue and scattered with pearls.

“Thank you, I love pearls!” I smiled.

Sebastian dropped a box onto my bed, the wrapping was shimmering and black with a dark red ribbon. “I hope you like it, it seems more practical considering your circumstances.”

‘Considering your circumstances’.

What does he mean by that? Whatever. I carefully opened the package, glitter sprinkled everywhere over the sheets and my night clothes. Whatever the item was in here was wrapped in velvet. Yuck. I just hate the way it feels.

When I successfully removed the disgusting fabric I found a clothing garment, it was lacy and black. I held it up to the light to see it better.

A Brazier.

“Sebastian!” Ciel and I called in unison. We each had deep blushes, mine was probably darker, my eyes also might be bright green, they do that when I’m embarrassed. As if a blush wasn’t enough.

The man chuckled. “I told you they would be practical, Miss Evans.”

I hid the garments, yes there were several of all kinds, under my blankets. My brother for some reason was laughing more than being angry about the fact that a grown, very handsome man just bought me underwear and braziers for my birthday.

“What are those, Sebastian?” The ever so innocent Finney asked.

“It’s called a Brazier, its to replace a corset. There should be underwear in there too.”

“Yes I am aware.” I gave him a death glare, its hard to do with a red face.

“Sebastian what is the meaning of this!” Ciel demanded.

“They are big in America and they’re supposed to be more comfortable than a traditional corset. She is now a 15 year-old young women and should be ahead on trends.” He explained. I thought bitterly of how I wouldn’t know any trends because I haven’t even left the mansion!  We sat in silence, well I sat, for a moment as I packed away the underclothes. Ciel walked up to my bedside, a blushed painted on his cheeks.

He cleared his throat, “For my present to you, I will take you to London and go shopping. I will buy you whatever you like.”

“Really? Is everyone coming with us?” I smiled and looked around the room at the friendly people. Then settled my eyes on Ciel.
