Why did they put the mental facility in the middle of no where on an island?
A lot asked this question little found the answer besides that it was safer for everyone. But little did they know the real reason for putting it in the middle of nowhere was to make sure it's influence wouldn't effect the utopia they were trying to make.
Eventually, the people got their wanted "utopia". Everyone was the spitting image of everyone. They were the same. No one was ever sick and if they got sick they got killed and burned. No one had mutations, mental illnesses,no freckles or moles. Everyone and thing was perfect. They were all rich so none were really rich. They were all straight and christians.
But in every utopia there's a problem. One person that wasn't perfect was the leader's daughter so instead of killing her he gave her a job. A job none wanted. She was to go to the mental facility every month to give food. The first day came and she wasn't heard from from neither the utopia nor the mental facility.
Lily was fighting against her 'prison' when Z walked in the room and nudged her with his foot.
"You'll hurt yourself." Z's voice was raspy because he just woke up to her grunting.
Lily smiled and said cheerfully"Oh. .hello Z. Have a nice nap?"
"Yeah,now stop."
"If i dont?"
Z narrows his eyes at her and she starts laughing. Z sighs and sits down watching her. His mind starts to wander back to the past,or his version of the past. He gets jerks back into the insanity when he hears a humming noise and looks straight at Lily,or where she was.
Z sighs and gets up and looks for the rest of them. He goes to a room that has books scattered everywhere and a lightly used 'mattress'. He sees no one is in the room and sighs.
He walks slowly to the room beside it,praying she's not in there. This room has dried blood all over the walls, bones shoved in a corner, and a 4 by 4 spot where nothing was, in the middle of the room. He smirks a little and walks into another hallway.
Looking around him, he sees where the place has been extended because there was a different type of brick and you could see where a window use to be. The wooden frame of the ceiling was rotting in some places and missing in anothers. The place looked like it had been there for a few centuries instead of decades. He turned into a hallway full of doorways with either broken doors, doors full of holes,or no doors at all. Then he finally got to the only door in that hall that was in good shape and opened it slowly then quickly ducked as a bat flew over his head.
"Arthur!"
A tired voice whispered,"Z?"
Z gently said, "Yes its me"
"S-sorry"
Z walked into the room. "It's fine but do you know where the others are?"
"Isaac's room?"
"Checked"
"B-basil's room?"
"No,thankfully"
"Lily's. . .?"
"Came from there."
"Th-hen your's?"
Z sighed and looked around the room. He saw a tidy room but blankets shoved in a corner and a small figure laying on top of them.
"Alright. . Get up and help look or I'll bring Lily in here."
Arthur rubbed his eyes and got up to walk towards him.
Despite the boy being younger then Z he stood fifteen inches taller.
"Jeez son,were your parents giants?"
"I-i don't kn-now. ."
"Bud it's a joke,ok?"
Arthur nods slightly and walks past Z to leave the room. Z follows the boy as they walk to his room. When they get there they hear whispers and Arthur stops to let Z pass. He walks into his room and grabs a man that was slightly shorter then him but covered in bloody clothes.
"Z. . .stop."
