Do you ever feel like you just can't go on living?
Do you ever think that seeing is believing?
Do you ever just wanna call it quits,
Raise a white flag and release em feelings
My man have you ever felt like giving up cause you're bleeding quick,
Bleeding out, bleeding fast, lights growing dim, brighter lights going sharp
What if it'll all not soon be alright
What if it'll all just be for a rideSomeone take you for granted
Make you feel less and unwanted
Break your heart and believings
Take you for a ride, the park is a-seethingBut it's not a fairy tale, things we imagine
It's the reality, life isn't really a nice white witchIt's a chilly feeling, when you find out twas all just a dream, a bad dream
The dread, the stress, to behold the evidence of your limitations, your inhibitions, your inabilities and incapabilities, the implications of manhandled situations
Now you're depressed, everything once repressed, finds expression in sadness.
Wow man, I regressed.
Bitter regrets, fear for the next, future uncertain; the past a black curtain.Thoughts of what the other side looks like, like an annoying advert repeats in mind on replay, bad vibe plants; green leaves, bloody thorns with poisons inlaid set up shop, roots deepen, strangling the tree, the tree of life, the drive to survive, slowly fades away
Happiness in dread, Joy in sadness, the joker ain't dead, but the fire is quiet
Heart switched off, you're already dead to life, all that remains is the lying in state, the burial service or celebration of life
Grim faces, angry hearts, look upon the one time friend, feeling betrayed. The sadness is multiplied...
