Amy's pov
"Derek if you get up so help me" I yelled from the kitchen
"I'm fine ok I just want to change the channel and can't reach the damn remote"
"Just hold on don't move you don't want I hurt yourself even more"
"God damn it" Derek yelled from the bedroom
"I'm coming it's your own fault your stuck in bed you know nobody sat there and told you to be an idiot" I said muttering the last part
"I was not an idiot" he said as I handed him the remote
"Tell that to your back" I laughed sitting on my side of the bed
"No come lay with me" he whined reaching towards me.
"I don't want to hurt your back worse so I'll just sit right here and watch whatever you want to"
"My back will be fine please lay with me" he looked right at my with those crystal blue eyes and I melted
"Fine what do you want to watch nothing to do with dancing cause it will just make you angry"
"It does not make me angry it stresses me because I should be working and choreographing not just laying here" he sighed burying his face in his hands.
"I'm not gonna sit here and tell you it's not your fault you sprained your back cause let's be honest it is but you needed this you haven't stopped and just breathe you're barely sleeping and I never see you except when you eat like for five minutes then right before bed as much as you hate this you needed it big time" he sat there looking at me for a second thinking of how to respond.
"Have I really been gone that much"
"Yeah and you have bags under your eyes as much as you love your job you have to just take a breather sometimes sleep until 9:30 instead of 7 it won't kill you"
"I love you so much Amy" he whispered placing a kiss on my head
"I love you too Derek"
