(I simply cannot fathom that people are still reading this to this day, because I thought this website died when I graduated middle school. Shockingly, it did not. Anyways, I write big boy screenplays now and am 18, but I thought I'd write some short moments from some of my screenplay characters. Hopefully my writing has gotten better from when I was prepubescent. Fingers crossed.)
Bethany was mad, and not just at Greg. At Jason, too. Turns out all men are just assholes. She already knew she was bisexual, but might as well turn full gay now because even though boys are hot as hell they are not worth the emotional torment that comes along with it. Then, she reconsidered, and remembered that hating men is not a good or valid reason to be a lesbian.
While walking along in the overcrowded public high school hallways, with her head down as it so often was when Bethany wasn't with friends; she bumped into something, or rather someone. This someone was tall and large and oh shit it was Jason.
"Sorry. I sat on your face. Oh my god. Sorry. Okay bye." The noise Bethany made from embarrassment as she power walked swiftly on was audible by all who cared to listen, which surprisingly wasn't very many out of the thousands that attended this fine institution of learning. Bethany has got to be the most awkward person on the planet.
To think that she could have a real connection with someone, then her bitchiness and all around self hatred would go and ruin it all. And on top of that, that she would still have to go to school with him. But oh no, that torment wasn't enough; she now has to bump into him in the hallway and be overbearingly awkward.
She didn't even let him get a word out. What would he have even said? He's probably forgotten about her at this point, honestly. Although Bethany was pretty memorable, not in the sheets; but in the consequences thereafter.
Let me explain, Jason belongs to a group of boys known as The Preppy White Boys. These boys hold themselves to the highest standards, at least some of them do. The ringleader of them all, Greg, was the most malicious little bitch to ever grace the Earth. (But Bethany's opinion on him might change with time, if you know what I mean.) Bethany had scored herself community service after school with three of these boys, including Jason and Greg. She immediately hit it off with Jason and he came to her house to perform some illicit acts on her. (She sat on his face, and they talked about music and their exes.) It was an all around pretty great time. Issue is, Jason left a pretty sizeable hickey on Bethany's very visible neck. This inevitably led to people questioning her about it, and due to her horrible lying skills; people finding out it was Jason. The public roared with their opinions and who's side they were on. But Greg, he was not going to let one of his preppy soldiers be known as someone to do sex with girls of low reputation. Greg shoved the whole thing under the rug, or as well as you can when trying to get rid of juicy gossip in a high school. He made Jason "dump" Bethany, which caused her to in turn become a crazy bitch. The whole thing just did not end very well for a poor little shy girl, who isn't so shy after all.
And she just had to bump into him. On today of all days. Today didn't really have any significance, Bethany just thought that was a cool thing to say. She wanted to apologize to Jason, but also men are assholes and it's all his fault. Later she would realize that her actions weren't as excusable as she so resolutely believed.
After scrutinizing her reaction to simply bumping into Jason, and laughing about it with her best friend Daisy; she came to the conclusion that she did need to talk to him. So this, of course, led her to walk to his house which was only about three streets down from her house. When she arrived, she neglected to notice that there were maybe a few too many cars in the driveway for just the residents of this household.
Nevertheless, Bethany marched her confident, yet very fragile and very clearly melting down, ass up to the door and knocked. What she definitely did not expect was Maddy, the resident bitchy slut of the school to open the door.
Now, saying these things about another women is not something Bethany would normally do; but if anyone deserved it, it would be Maddy. Bethany didn't even say these things to be hurtful, maybe. But really, Maddy does openly call herself a bitchy slut in any conversation she can get herself in. Maddy really was an easy person to hate, and with how much people seemed to shit talk her, she sure did have a lot of friends. Maybe it was due to the copious amounts of drugs and alcohol she seemed to keep permanently on her person. Who knows. But Maddy, Maddy was a bitch.
"Sup, slut." answered Maddy at the door. "Hey, Madeleine. Where's Jason?" At this point, Bethany should have just left, but her mind was made up that she was going to have a fucking conversation with Jason and she was damn well going to do it tonight.
"Why? Going to apologize to him and try to score yourself another big hickey along with some controversy?" Maddy really was the ultimate popular bitch depicted in each and every teen television program. Bethany was shocked that she even knew what the word 'controversy' meant. Maddy then decided that this conversation was boring her, so she opened the door to reveal a party going on inside of Jason's poor house.
This party wasn't huge like the ones you see in movies, but it was a gathering of about twelve people consisting of the Preppy White Boys with questionable morals, some of the softball girls, and of course Maddy Robinson herself. This is when Bethany caught a glimpse of Jason, definitely stoned out of his fucking mind, with a flannel unbuttoned revealing a bit of his chest.
Jason was not overly muscular, and he had a bit of chub to him. His face was a bit weird, and his smile oddly large. But Bethany liked him. Oh fuck, she liked him.
She'd never really fought herself about liking him so much, because she knew that she'd lose. All in all, one of his only bad traits were the people he chose to surround himself with. This definitely wasn't his only bad trait, but it was one of the only ones Bethany knew about. Maybe she'll have to deal with his anger issues later. But I wouldn't want to spoil anything.
He looked at her and she was displaced from her body and but up in the sky. This wasn't some metaphor for how much she loved him or the heaven he put her in. She was having a panic attack. A full on, can't fucking breathe correctly, sweaty palms, panic attack. Just standing there like the weird girl in the doorway of a party she wasn't invited to staring at a boy she'd only known for about a week and already gone through something that an entire novel could be written about, it was just all too much. What was she even planning on saying to him? She must look like such a goddamn idiot right now. She probably looks like a goddamn idiot all the time. The whole world was collapsing and she-
"Hey." She heard a voice from her side. It sounded like Jason, but it wasn't him and she knew it wasn't him because he was right in front of her. Unless she was going crazy and hearing thing-
"Bethany." Well the hand on her crossed arms surely wants Jason. She looked up to find Brandon, and was forced to snap out of her panic attack.
