I looked into the mirror, same short brown hair. I put it up into a tiny ponytail and headed off to school. On the way there I saw that boy again. The one with his hood up and blonde hair tumbling out. He always walked on the grass, next to the sidewalk where I was. This time he was behind me, walking at the same pace as I was.

He sped up so he could walk right next to me and he said, "I like your jacket." I said thanks, probably too enthusiastically because I had never expected him to actually talk to me. He once again sped up and was now in front of me. I saw what he was doing so I sped up on the sidewalk to be next to him again.

"I like your jacket too." I said.

"I wear it every day and you see me every day, if you liked it you would've said something earlier." I was shocked that he knew I saw him every day on the way to school.

"Well, you see me every day too." I said it sarcastically but this conversation was actually making my heart beat very fast.

"I don't recall you every wearing that jacket before, maybe I don't like your other outfits." He laughed at the end so I knew he wasn't serious. "Maybe I would prefer to see you in hotter weather."

I blushed because the weather was always rainy when I saw him and I don't think he had ever really seen any of my skin. I blushed even more when he put his arm around my shoulders. You would think anyone would be scared of this, but I felt like I knew him. I mean I did see him every day.
