The year was 2019, specifically September the first,  Richie was setting up in his garage with his friends as the one and only Beverly Marsh asked confused. 'You got new neighbours?' Richie shook his head. 'Not that I noticed?' Beverly peeks her head around the corner. 'Nope, unless "big-boobed Jill" gained 300 pounds in a night, you got new neighbours.' Richie curiously looked over with her and gasped. 'Why'd she move?!' Stan answered not looking up from his book. 'Probably cause you're so bad at guitar she couldn't take it anymore.'

Richie laughed a little being overdramatic. 'Stan the man! How could you insult my god-like skills?!' Stan nods amused with the response he was given, Beverly grinned with an idea. 'Let's go meet them! It'll be fun!' Richie smirks a bit. 'Molly Ringwald finally has a good idea!' Stan groans getting up putting down his, as Richie would describe it "Completely gay and boring" book about birds.

They arrive it the door within seconds as Richie knocks it on quickly, they stand there on the old porch taking in the scenery, Richie gasped a little seeing a short brunette boy standing at the door, the mystery teenager said confused. 'May I help you?' Richie smirks a little. 'Yes, you may.' He asks confused. 'How? Why are you here?' Richie extends his hand. 'Richie Tozier, I'm your neighbour!' A grumpy voice comes from behind the door. 'Who is it Eddie-Bear?' Richie moved a little closer. 'Eddie? Cute name.' Beverly fake coughed to get the boys attention. 'Really Rich? Keep it in your pants just for one day.' Eddie responded turning his head to the direction the voice came from. 'No one ma! Just new neighbours.'

Eddie came out shutting the door behind him, Richie eyed him quickly up and down, taking in the details he could see, his legs looked like they were either waxed or shaved recently along with a scar on his right knee, he kept his big puffy yellow jumper cleaned as there weren't any stains, Eddie asks. 'So, why'd you knock?' Richie laughs a little. 'Wanted to meet whoever replaced Jill.' Eddie nods. 'So uh, anything else?'

Stan sighed. 'Ignore him, we wanted to meet you and say hi if you need anything ask Richie since he is the one who lives there. But how old are you?! You look young?' Eddie answered. '15, why?' Richie claps. '16! I think I've seen you around before? Where'd you move from?' Eddie sighed. 'Other side of town, so you've probably seen me at school.' Richie nods. 'Well, I hope to see you more often Eds.' He pinched his cheeks at the end as the shorter boy laughed a little. 'Don't call me that.'

A/N: This is a little weird but basically Richie has grunge aesthetic to him and Eddies just soft as shit and cute.
