I wake up in Eddie's bed, I look over at his sleeping face, I kiss him as it's probably the last time I'll be able to do it. I sit up as he rests his head on my shoulder, I whisper. 'Happy birthday babe.' He smiles into my chest. 'Thanks...' I stand up grabbing my gift for him. 'Here you are Eds.' He looks at it as it's a small box. 'What is it?' I shrug. 'Open it.' He unwraps it seeing a ring box? He opens it. 'Richie?! I'm only just 16? I'm not.-' I laugh kissing him cutting him off. 'Dickhead! I know you're not ready for marriage...it's a promise ring...since I'll be so far away from you, I wanted to get you something to show you that I'll always be there for you.' He smiles kissing me. 'That's so kind and sweet...'

We get up getting dressed and ready, I sigh. 'So, today we shall go to the cinema! And then we will go hang out with Billy!' He laughs. 'Sounds fun, Richie.' We go out and have the time of our lives, we go get some ice cream, and jump in my car, he grabs my hand with the hand that has his ring on it. 'Thank you...' I smile kissing his cheek. 'You're welcome.' I drive to Bills and there's a massive "happy birthday" banner outside the garage, Eddie looks confused. 'What's this?' I answer. 'Surprise!' Bill, Stan, Ben and Bev jump out screaming. 'Happy birthday Eddie!' None of them know I'm leaving and I intend on keeping it that way. We get in and I laugh. 'He was so surprised.' He rolls his eyes. 'Thanks for the heads up dickhead.' I laugh kissing his cheek. 'You love me.' He shrugs his shoulders as Bill says. 'We're s-still here you k-k-know.' I nod. 'I know, I just love teasing the birthday boy...in more then a couple of ways.' I wink as Bev rolls her eyes. 'So, how's your birthday going?' He answers. 'Really nice...thanks to Rich, just a bit sad about him going...'

Bev raises her eyebrows. 'How is he leaving?' I put my hand over Eddie's mouth. 'I'm not! I'm just going on a vacation with my dad...' Eddie looks at me confused. 'I think we need to go talk in a different room...' They nod as Eddie drags me outside. 'They don't know?' I nod grabbing his hands. 'Don't tell them...I'm begging you!' He sighs. 'Richie...they have to know eventually...' I sigh. 'I'll tell them after the party I just want you to have some fun.' 

He nods wrapping one of his hands around the back of my head kissing me. 'Ok, fine...' We walk back inside smiling, obviously fake, Stan asks. 'What's up with that?' I answer. 'Just...needed to talk with my baby.' Eddie smiles. 'Let's have fun! Where is cake?' Bev laughs as we all just chill, it becomes dark as Eddie hits my arm. 'Tell them.' Ben asks. 'Tell us what?' I groan. 'Eddie is pregnant! I impregnated him! I shall be a daddy.- Well, I already am but...' Eddie rolls his eyes. 'Richie, just say it.' I sigh. 'Ok fine, I'm...moving.' Bev asks. 'What?! Why?! Where?!' I answer. 'My parents divorced and...well, my dads moving us to New York City.' Stan groans. 'Dude! That's bullshit! You're not allowed to leave! Us! We're all here!' I groan. 'Hand me a beer stany boy, I shall give you some fatherly advice.' 

He hands me one. 'Sadly, I cannot say no. Grandma wanted to take custody but...apparently she's taking care of some kid?' Stan groans. 'That's bullshit!' Eddie nods. 'I know right!' I nod. 'Now! You all have to care for Eds for me!' Eddie shakes his head laughing. 'Really? I can take care of myself.' I laugh. 'Well, can you take care of the baby?' Eddie punches my arm. 'I'm not pregnant.' 

After ages of me drinking, I lay on Bills couch. 'God I'm fucking tired.' Eddie just watches me from one of the lounge chairs. 'You drank a lot Rich.' I flip him off. 'Shut up! Just...' He kisses my forehead getting up. 'Just go to sleep.' 

I wake up...todays the day. I get up as Eddie and everyone is sitting there eating breakfast, Eddie laughs. 'Want some breakfast?' I shake my head. 'I'll eat on the road.' Eddie nods as Bill laughs. 'Y-You were out like a l-l-light!' I sigh looking at my phone. "Leaving now, packed your stuff up into the car, get here now." I groan. 'Got to go.' Eddie perks up. 'I'll come with you...we were neighbours after all.' I sigh. 'Ok Eds, let's go then...'

I grab onto Eddie's face. 'Fuck I'll miss you so much.' Eddie throwns. 'I'll miss you so much more.' His little thumbs hide under my glasses rubbing my eyes, god fuck off tears! I pull his face to mine hitting our foreheads, he kisses me. 'I love you.' I feel my heart skip a beat. 'I...I love you too!' He kisses me again as I say. 'I'll message you the second I get in the car! And I just...I don't want to leave!' He clings onto me as I sigh. 'Bye Eds...' He says. 'Bye Richie....' I let go of him getting in the car, I turn my head to the window not saying anything just quickly spamming Eddie "Hey" over and over. He responds with. 'Damm you're clingy.' I respond. 'You're just so cute, how could I not be?' 

He messages back. 'God I can't wait for winter break, I already miss you.' The smile fades away. 'Yeah, I miss you too...the second I get there I'll call you and then as soon as winter break happens I can come get you!
