Chapter 3: The Glasses Girl

(A/n): After long session of procrastination that spanned months, I finally got around to finishing this chapter. It didn't come out as well as I'd like to, but I already re-wrote this a buncha times now already. So I guarantee it's already better than the first draft I planned to release.

'Deep Breaths...'

'Deep Breaths, Izuku...'

'Deep Breaths, deep breaths, DEEP BREATHS!'

You know the feeling of dread that comes before your final exams? Like, you did every ounce of preparation you could, but the sheer pressure from the exams still break down your nerves like its made of paper? Because when we arrived at the freakin' CITY that was deemed our 'testing site' that feeling washed all over my body at once.

"Ready perfectly, you are perfectly and 100% ready for this..." I mumbled to myself to calm my nerves. 'Yeah, all that time and effort. The Body Improvement Club, those 10-months training with All Might, everything you've done has led up to this moment! '

'Yeah, yeah, yeah! I CAN DO THIS"   

"KUOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!! I'M ALL FIRED UP!" I yelled pumping a fist to the sky

I realized though, that I was in the middle of a crowd of people. A crowd of people that was looking at me like I'm sort of weirdo, a crowd of people that included a certain gravity girl I met last chapter. The same gravity girl who was trying to stifle her laughs at my attempt to pump myself up.

'Well I'm glad I cheered her up somewhat. Maybe I should say hi' I thought to myself before making my way over to her.

"You. What do you hope to achieve with disrupting the concentration of everyone around you?"

Before I could do that however, I was stopped by a voice that sounded like it had a stick up it's ass. 

I turned around to see a tall girl wearing glasses stopped me in my tracks and began to nag me. Yeah, needless to say I tuned her out after that.

"Uhm, can I help you?" I asked glancing past her to check if Uraraka was still there, she was but my actions were noticed by the girl blocking my way. 

"Ah I see, so you have a specific target huh ? What are your intentions with that girl?" She demanded

"Uh, what?"

"I remember that you were arguing with your girlfriend regarding your infidelity during the orientation, is that girl the cause for your lover's spat? An affair perhaps?" She continued to stare me down as she made her claims "Ah I see now, you're nothing more than a playboy toying with young girl's hearts! And a pervert like you has the gall to try out for the Hero Course!"

"Wha-wha?! No that's not it at all!" I denied

"Then what-" The girl was cut off when

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND STAAAAAAATOOOOO!" The loud voice of Present Mic echoed

"Look uh...miss?" Didn't know her name yet "We may have gotten of on the wrong foot, that girl? She's my friend, I was trying to wish her luck." I tried calm down her momentum before her accusations actually start to piss me off "Also the battle cry was me trying to calm my nerves, I apologize if it threw your game off"

"But hey, if you wanna know my name" I began to make my way to the front of the crowd since everyone was waiting for the go signal "Maybe, I'll tell you later if we both pass!"

"WHAT ARE YOU GUYS WAITING FOR ?! THERE AREN'T ANY 'READY, SET, GO!'s IN REAL LIFE!" Present Mic shouted

"CONSIDER THIS THE BATON TOSSED!!!"
