third person pov!!

Jen dusted herself off as she looked at herself in the mirror. She wanted to make sure she looked extremely decent today as it was an extremely special day.
Today, she was proposing to her girlfriend Korey who had been her girlfriend for two years and she really felt that she was her soulmate and the one that she wanted to be with til death do them part.
She couldn't help but be nervous. What if Korey didn't feel the same way as her? She was so in love with this woman and wanted to marry her and she just hoped Korey felt the same way.
She had planned to take her small girlfriend on a date at the park to have a picnic and when the sun starts going down, that's when she was going to propose to her.
After she had gotten dressed and dusted herself off, she went into their room to see Korey buttoning her jeans up.
Jen snuck behind her as the ring was hidden in the room and she quickly wrapped her arms around her girlfriend's wife, scaring the small woman.
Korey yelped before realising it was her girlfriend.
"Jenny! Don't scare me like that!" Korey said, looking back at Jen.
Jen smiled at her reaction and she rested her head on Korey's shoulder.
"I'm sorry baby, you're just too cute." Jen said, kissing the side of Kor's neck and trailing to her cheek. Korey giggled as Jen kissed her.
"That tickles!" Korey said, sticking her tongue out at the taller girlfriend.
Jen just laughed and gave her a quick smack on the butt.
"Go get the stuff packed the picnic princess, I'll be out in a sec because I need to do something real quick." Jen said, smiling at her.
"But mom, what if I don't wanna pack the picnic." Korey said, jokingly crossing her arms like a small child.
"Well, no picnic otherwise." Jen joked back, trying not to laugh.
"Fineee." Korey jokingly whined and with that, she left the room.
Once Jen was certain that Korey had left the room and had no chance of seeing the ring, she went to the place she had hid the ring and quickly pulled it out and putting it in her jacket pocket before zipping it up.
She took one last deep sigh before walking out to the kitchen to be met with her girlfriend holding the basket and blanket.
"God you're quick with packing woman!" Jen teased, grabbing the basket off Korey.
"Why yes I am. It's one of my finest talents." Korey said, acting all sassily.
Jen couldn't help but smile largely while watching her girlfriend prance around their kitchen. If things went to plan, this was the woman she was going to make her fiance and marry and that idea made her extremely happy.
All she wanted was to marry her little dork and the idea of her marrying Korey, made Jen very happy.
After a little while of Korey prancing around the kitchen, Jen took Korey's hand in her own.
"Well Miss Sassy Pants, are you ready to start the picnic feast?" Jen said, smirking at her girlfriend.
Korey just smirked back and nodded intensely.
"Yes! I'm starving!" Korey said, dragging Jen to the car by her hand.
Jen yelped as Korey dragged her out of the door and she had to quickly close and lock the behind her while being dragged by her crazy little girlfriend.
When both girls had got in the car and had started driving, Jen couldn't help but get more nervous about proposing to Korey. All she could do was hope that she felt the same about getting married as it was too late to back out now.
After they had arrived at the park, they got the stuff out and found a nice shady place to have their picnic.
Korey rolled out the blanket while Jen got everything set up. After all that was sorted, the girls sat down opposite of each other around the picnic basket and they began to eat after Korey declared how hungry she was.
As they continued to eat, Jen couldn't help take little stares and smile at her girlfriend. She loved this woman and was thankful just to be on this date with the woman she truly loved.
And with that, they continued to eat like it was no ones business.
-time skip-
When the sun had finally set and both girls had hung out for a bit and now Jen was lying down on the blanket with Korey laying on her chest as they looked up at the stars.
Jen was meant to be looking up at the stars but once again, she was looking at the tiny that she had on her chest and had her arms around.
She thought if any time was perfect to propose, it would be now.
She suddenly sat up which confused Korey but the girl still held onto her until Jen spoke.
"As beautiful as this view is, we should probably hop home babe. It's getting dark." Jen said, kissing her cheek.
Korey nodded and stood up. She then turned around to pack up the picnic basket so Jen took that as the chance to get on one knee and get the ring out.
She swallowed hard as she got on one knee.
"Baby? Can you look at me for a sec?" Jen said, her heart feeling like it was going to burst out of her chest any moment.
Korey quickly turned around and when she saw her girlfriend on one knee, she was instantly confused.
Jen then grabbed on her of hands and then began to speak.
"Korene Pingitore... I just want to say how much I love and adore you. When I met you two years ago at that concert, I have loved you with all my heart. I do believe that you are my true soulmate. You make me smile even on my toughest days and that's why Kor..." Jen said before turning away and grabbing the ring out of her pocket.
When she pulled the ring out of her pocket and opened it, Korey quickly covered her mouth.
"Korene Marie, will you marry me?" Jen asked, smiling at Korey.
Korey instantly began to bawl as she nodded intensely.
"Yes! I will!" Korey squealed, smiling and kinda embarrassed about how much she was crying.
Jen smiled as she pulled the ring out of the the box and slid it onto Koreys thin finger.
She then stood up and wrapped her arms around Korey's waist as she kissed her passionately. Korey wrapped her arms tightly around Jen's neck as she still cried while kissing her.
When they pulled away, Jen smiled from ear to ear and placed her forehead against Korey's.
"I cannot wait to marry you, I love you so much baby." Jen said, kissing Korey's forehead.
Korey wiped away some of her tears and smiled back.
"I love you too." Korey replied, closing her eyes for a few seconds.
And after the excitement of their new engagement had died down a little bit, both girls actually began to pack up and went home.
And as they dozed off in bed that night, all they could think about was...
How to plan their wedding.
