I felt a prickling sensation, now it felt like a thousand bee stings when the chip was being inserted. I wanted to scream but I knew that if I did I will lose my dignity. The lady with beautiful blonde hair told me to stop wriggling and to stay calm, but how could I stay calm when a microchip the size of a half eaten walnut was being inserted in my left arm. The pain was unbearable, I thought that maybe if I looked around it will forget about the pain. I looked at my arm, it was covered in blood with a needle poking out of it, that sight defiantly didn't help me what so ever. The lady looked at me, she was beautiful as ever. she looked at me with her big brown eyes. she told me to think of something good, something about a "happy place", I think I lost my happy place last month when my mother disappeared, it was so sudden, she just disappeared, without a trace. Hundreds maybe thousands disappeared with her. Sometimes I feel like she is looking down at me from above seeing how much her son is suffering through. I sometimes feel like my mother is watching me from above noticing how much her son is suffering through. I feel burning hot tears trickling down my face which felt as red as a tomato. That's when I realised that I couldn't feel the excruciating pain that I felt minutes ago, I took a peek at my arm scared to find more blood and more needles poking out, but my arm looked perfectly normal except for a small bulge on my forearm near my wrist. I shook my arm, It felt absolutely ordinary. relieved that I no longer had to suffer through the immense pain, I listened intensively to the blonde haired goddess. I couldn't help but thinking that the lady looked like a goddess. I looked at her name tag, it read Julie, Julie did look like a goddess, she had beautiful blonde hair, big brown eyes and flawless skin. she looked perfect in every way... at Least that's what I think. Hopefully her personality is as perfect as her appearance. Julie told me that that I no longer needed to carry around cash or a credit card, that I only needed my microchip for purchasing. she also told me that all my life's information was stored on the chip, from the beginning of my life till now. As Julie kept explain the rules and regulations of a microchip that probably took away a quarter of my blood, I couldn't help but wonder how a tiny microchip can store an enormous amount of information, but I guess that was how the government kept track of their servants whereabouts. Julie's arm broke my thoughts and gave me a fright, her arm was stretched out towards me, she asked me to hand-over my credit card, I looked into her big brown eyes suspiciously and then reluctantly handed over my credit card. With one snip my credit card fell to the floor in two different pieces. I bent over to pick it up but Julie bet me to it. she picked up my non valid credit card and tossed it in the rubbish bin. Julie had a huge smirk on her face. She told me that life as I know it will never be the same. I looked at her with astonishment yet somehow I couldn't agree more.
