It was November. I sat on my desk, phone in hand. My head ached after coming back from a flight. Jetlagged. "Alright, everyone line up." Spoke our class president. I pushed my chair back to get up, legs wobbly. We left our classroom to have our usual assembly in the school's courtyard. I was chatting with my best friend behind me as we were walking back to our room. It was then when I realized there was an addition to the line. There was a very tall boy with very dark brown hair at the very back. He was clad in our school uniform. Strictly, a white, short-sleeved, button-up, polo, black slacks, and black school shoes. His back was turned towards us as he began walking. Who are you? I thought to myself as a continued to glance at him while I walked.

I sat back down on my chair and saw that the boy didn't have a seat. So he stood by the door silently. There was low chatter among the 19 of us. It was either about the new student or something else. My lips were sealed as I studied his face. I recognized him but it was hard to remember his name. Although the boy looked slightly different with much shorter hair, a school rule that he head to follow. My fingers snapped at my friend, Andrene. She stared at me. "What? What?" She asked. "It's him. I can't remember his name but it's him." I pursed my lips together, trying to remember his name. It's on the tip of my tongue. In the back of my head. But why was he here? Our teacher appeared behind the door and guided the tall boy to the center. "Would you like to introduce yourself to your new classmates, Jisung?" My eyes widened. Finally, someone said it. It was Park Jisung. My eyes wavered as I realized that an ex-idol was in my school.

"Hi, my name is Park Jisung. I'm 17 years old. Nice to meet you all." His deep voice enveloped the room, a slight accent evident. All the students were quiet. You could hear a pin drop. I turned to my left, seeing my friend's arm lifted. He stood tall. "A-are you Park Jisung from NCT? From NCT Dream?" Mitch's voice shook. He was as shaken as I was. It seemed that no one had recognized Jisung besides Andrene, Mitch, and I. Jisung nodded with a smile. "I was. I had quit so I could focus in my studies. My parents and I moved here." I clasped a hand over my mouth, a soft gasp leaving my lips.

Pure shock took over my face. He had his contract terminated so he could study. Park Jisung gave up his dreams as an idol to continue studying. "It seems that a few of your classmates recognize you." Chuckled our teacher as he gave Jisung a pat on the back. He motioned Jisung to sit on a newly placed seat next to Jax and Franklin which conveniently was behind us. He made his way to the second row, his physique towering over all of us. Everyone turned to him, bombarding him with questions. "I-i don't speak English well. I'm sorry. C-can someone interpret?" He apologized. My ears perked at the sudden change to his native language. Rolan and I raised hands. Jisung's eyes lit up. We both stood near him to help him answer their questions.

A few hours passed by and soon it was break time. I pulled my chair to face Jisung's table. "C-can I have lunch with you?" My hands held my blue lunch box and my utensils. His dark hair softly bounced as he lifted his head. "Of course!" The boy smiled brightly as he pulled out his own lunch. I set down my stuff and took my seat in front of him. "This might be weird but it's amazing how I get to have lunch with my bias.... and see him everyday at school... just like a fanfiction." I stumbled at my words. Jisung chuckled lowly. "Thank you. I'm glad that I finally get to be treated like a normal person, not being recorded everywhere I go." My lips tugged slightly. I gave him a soft smile.

The door to our classroom opened, a few students from the other class standing there. My other friends, Nancy, Joan, and Jomar came running to us. "It's another new student. Hi, what's your name?" Jomar jumped to my side. Nancy also walked by, standing next to Mitch. She had this questioning look. "Seem familiar, Nancy?" The girl nodded, still gathering her thoughts. "I'm Park Jisung, ex-NCT member. I quit being an idol." Jisung voiced out as he pulled the red school sweater over his head. The three class-neighbors gasped. "IT'S YOUR BIAS!" They said in unison. My face slightly reddened. "I-if it isn't that obvious." The tall boy got up and tossed his candy wrapper into the trash bin. "Hahaheh, let's not get excited with meeting an idol. I'm just Jisung Park now. Not NCT Jisung anymore." He sighed. My eyes watched as the boy went back to his seat. "Jisung-ssi? Do you want to become friends? Not as an idol or my bias, but as you yourself." I held my hand out to him. There was a slight glint in Jisung's chocolate brown eyes. His large hand enveloped mine and we shook hands.

My body went warm and fuzzy, learning that I'm suddenly friends with someone I knew so much about and admired alot. Of course, not forgetting that he was handsome, kind, and talented.
