Bye Bye Bruce

The Mission

Natasha's POV
Bruce had left me shocked and alone. I know I should feel sad but I don't. But I just don't know why. I decided I could get some training to clear my mind, but then I ran into him.
Steve's POV
I was going to Natasha's room. Everyone was worried about her. But then I ran into her and lost my words. Wow she looked amazing. I thought. Wait no Steve. She doesn't want you she just got heartbroken.
"Gonna say something or just look at me Rogers" She said with a smirk on her face.
"Oh-I uh."I nervously said. Think Rogers think. "Um how are you feeling." I asked. But then suddenly her smirk disappeared into sad face. Then a tear rolled down her eye. "Oh I'm sorry." I said feeling bad. "No it's okay." She said wiping it off. I was about to say something but then Jarvis interrupted us. "Rogers and Romanoff are needed in Director Fury's office." The al said. "Come on." I said leading the way to Fury's office with her hand in mine. Why did this feel so good?
Natasha's POV
He held my hand in his leading the way to Fury's office. It was like my hand was made for it to be put into his hand. When we got there I let go of his hand and sat in a chair. Fury turned around. " I have a mission for you two" He said as we nodded. "There is a Hydra base. I want you guys to try and get the location." He said. "Seems like a pretty easy mission." Steve said in his serious voice. I felt kinda turned on by this voice but Steve doesn't have to know that. "We already have a hotel for you two to stay at." Fury said. "Wait how long are we staying." I asked curiously. "For about 4 days I want to find as many Hydra agents you can." Fury answered then gets up and leave me and Steve alone in the room. " Front door in 30." Steve asked as I nodded.
1 hour later
We got to the place and so we went to hack into the computers and get the location. Steve and I were on the escalator. But then I saw Rumlow. "Kiss me" I told Steve. "What" He asked. "Public displays of effection make people very uncomfortable ." I explained. "Yes they do." He said knowing where I was going. But before he got the chance to say anything I pulled him close to where our lips were touching. Why did I like it so much?
Steve's POV
Natasha had kissed me. It felt so good. When she pulled away she said " You still uncomfortable Rogers." "Not exactly the word I would use". I answered. What I had wanted to say was that I was flattered that she kissed me but that would have got me a punch to the stomach.

After we got to the hotel we went to our room only to find out that we had one bed. "I will just sleep on the floor" I said nervously. "No it's fine you can sleep in the bed with me." Natasha replied.
Then there I was in the bed with Natasha. She had laid her head on my chest. Then I kissed her forehead before I closed my eyes.
