Friends? No - Damijon Story

re write distance part 3

((Authors note:  I was in a rush to write I forgot the entire plot I am so sorry, please ignore what happened in the previous chapter))

Recap: Damian is still Ignoring jon, Damian isn't sure if his mother is bluffing about killing jon and his family.
Jon and Damian have a case they are working on jon is slowly trying to make Damian be friends with him because jon thinks Damian is Ignoring him because of the kiss.

-batcave-

"I have a case for you two" batman said "a pearl necklace was stolen from gotham jewellers, Jim gave us the case since the NCPD are full with bomb threats".

Batman placed the file on the table which was next to the bat computer.

"Great" jon sigh,
He heard a *t-t* from Damian.

-  high school (the next day)-

Damian sat in the back of the class trying to get on with his work, but he found himself occasionally looking up and staring at jon in awe, jon would be chatting carelessly with the people around him, sometimes he let out a quiet giggle that Damian could just about hear.

Jon would turn around to look a Damian when he thought Damian wouldn't notice . he is so perfect the thought that came into Jon's mind when he looked at Damian wayne.

"What'cha looking at" kathy said nudging jon.
Jon jump out of his skin in panic which Damian noticed but continued to look at his work with a small smile as he listened to jon come up with an excuse.

"You were totally looking at cara" kathy said.

"Um no I'm-" but before jon could continue the bell went.

Thank god thought jon.

 
After school jon headed to the library, he wanted to solve the case to  prove to Damian that he wasn't useless and maybe make Damian fall inlove with him because of his amazing detective skills.
Jon began to fantasise about it.

"You have amazing detective skills jon"
"Its a gift" jon would say
"I just want to kiss you jon"

He quickly shook the thought from his brian as the idea was to cheesy and he felt like it belong on a rom-com.

At the library jon began to look through the database for jewel thieves and pearl necklaces, Damian thought that catwoman might had stolen it but she would have gone for the more valuable jewelry, which was another question why steal such a worthless item?
There was something more to this case and jon new it.

Jon wasn't the best detective, he didn't even no where to begin.
He tried to find some sherlock Holmes books he scanned through the library for the he grabbed a couple and put them on a desk so he could pick one, but jon noticed something a book with a large green question mark on it.

"The adventures of Robin hood" was the title of the book. Jon grabbed the book, checked it out along with a sherlock Holmes book and ran to Wayne manner to find Damian or batman.

"I found something" jon said out of breathe, "I think it's a clue" he showed the book to Damian.

Damian raised an eyebrow
"that's the riddlers logo"

"Yeh I know that"  jon replied.

"The riddler is not a jewelry thief" Damian said almost sure of himself.

"Well who ever did it wasn't either" jon said trying his best to say his words with confidence.

"What?" Damian said a bit confused.

"Why would a jewelry thief steal a $150 dollar necklace when they could have stolen a $10k ring, unless they weren't there to steal something but give us a clue"

"Good point but the book has nothing to do with it" Damian said.

"But the riddles logo like you said"

"Yes it's the riddlers logo but a low life kid could have drawn it on as a joke" Damian suggested.

Why doesn't he believe me jon thought it was the riddler , jon didn't know why the riddler had done it or if it was even him but who ever it was they are up to no good....
