**a wonderful time skip just for y'all**
It had been years since Damian left, Batman had gone missing, the city of Gotham lefts unguarded, to quote many people "Gotham has lost its way". The rich did nothing to help, they simply watched the city rot in crime.
Jonathan Kent
no one was told much about the disappearance of the Wayne's ,other than they left to live somewhere on business, or what happened to batman. Superman didn't even know. His missing partner upset him dearly but he moved on, he had a job, working for the press.
10:23 am /Jonathan Kent/
"Is that really him?" Someone asked "The missing robin?"
This caught Jonathan's attention, as he walked over the a huddle of colleges, he took a sip of coffee out of his superman cup and looked up to the screen they had been fascinated by. He nearly spat put his coffee.
On the screen there was a blurry image of what appeared to be a hooded figure with two sword things, the figure reassembled an older robin, Damain Wayne, Jon was sure that was him."If that's robin does this mean Superboy will return?"
Jonathan scoffed well all most laughed at this.
He glanced up from his cup to see his colleges staring at him.
"Sorry" he said, he glanced over to his boss, "who was the story?""No one " his boss said. "Why do you want it" his boss almost laughed.
"Yeah"
"Seriously? You realize it's in Gotham right.."
"Yeah..""Fine take it" his boss said "but good look"
Jonathan knew what he was getting into this meant crappy motels, take outs and possible stake outs but it means seeing Damian again, he thought back to when they were younger when he kissed Damian, he instantly shook the image out of his head. he was doing this for work not Dami or so he thought.
(authors note sneak peak at it, have some parts saved.)
