How to Save a Life

A Time Turner

I woke up early, took a shower, got dressed for the first time in a month, and went down to breakfast, another first time in a month.

"What a lovely surprise." Mum says

"Morning mum." I say

"What are you doing today?" Ginny asks me

"I'm going with Ron." I say

"Well I'm glad your going out." Mum says. I eat then Ron comes down, surprised I actually got cleaned up and dressed.

"So you were serious about coming with me." He says

"Yes I was Ron." I say. once he's done eating we go to the Ministry, then we go to his office. on the way there we pass a stand with Time Turners all over it. I sure would love one of those, I could go back and save Fred.

"Morning Ron, and, uhh, Fred?" Someone I don't recognize says.

"No sir, I'm George, Fred is my Twin." I say, I'm so used to saying this that I don't even think before I say it.

"Oh yes, very sorry." He says rushing off.

"what's all that about?" I ask Ron

"I donno." He says

we go to Ron's office, he does busy work while I levitate random things in his office.

"Would you please stop."  Ron says angry.

"sorry, but I'm bored." I say

"Then go take a walk or something." He says

"okay okay I'm going for a walk." I say. and I know where I'm walking to, the Time Turners stand. I wait for no one to be around, then I take one. Then I walk back to Ron's office.

"And your back." "Ron says

"Yup, I'm back," I say

"How was your walk?" He asks

"Oh so interesting, I even got a souvenir." I say

"What did ya get?" He asks

"Oh a necklace." I say

"Oh cool." He says.

"Well, Wingardium Leviosa." I say pointing my wand at his coffee cup and making it spill on all his paper work.

"God Damon it Fred!" he yells at me

"Really?" I ask,

"I'm, I'm sorry George, I didn't mean to call you-" but I cut him off by holding my hand up.

"Its okay." I say

"no it's not, I'm really sorry." He says

"Its okay really," I say, silently and magically clean up the coffee.

"I think you should go to WWW." He says.

"Okay." I say, I disapperate and end up in my flat above the shop.

"Who's up there!?" Harry calls

"Its just me." I say

"Oh, hello George, how are you?" he asks,

"Ehh, I've been better." I say

"Why, what's up?" he asks

"I've not only made Ron feel bad, I've stolen from the Ministry." I say

"What do you mean you still from the Ministry?" he asks

"I stool a Time Turner." I say as if it's a candy bar.

"What? Why?" He asks

"So I can go back in time, why else?" I say

"When are you planning to go?" He asks

"about 2 years ago." I say

"Oh George, you can't go back to the battle, it's dangerous." He says

"Well it's worth the risk." I say

"No it's not, we've already lost Fred, we don't want to lose you too." he says

"If you had a chance to get your parents back, would you take it?" I ask

"Well of course." He says

"So why shouldn't I take this chance?" I ask

"you just shouldn't." He says

"Well Harry, I'm sorry to say, but your not my mother." I say

"What would your mother say to this?" he asks

"I don't know, and I'm not going to find out." I say.  I go down stairs to the shop, it's still full of cheerful kids. just as I left it.

"Excuse me sir, do you having any puking pastries?" a young boy asks me

"Not at the time being. Sorry." I say

"okay." He says. I work till seven, then I go home.

"How was your day?" mum asks me

"Well I'm going back to the shop tomorrow. Also, Ron is really upset last I saw of him." I say

"Why, what happened?" she asks

"He accidentally called me Fred," I say.

"Oh," she says

"where's Ginny?" I ask

"she's in her room. did you eat?" she asks

"Yes Harry got me food." I say going to Ginny's room.

"Hey George." she says

"How are you?" I ask

"I'm good, just trying to figure out which one of these jobs I should able for." she says

"We've always seen you to be a healer." I say

"Okay, I'll think about it." she says. Then I go to my room. I think I'm seeing things, because there was someone asleep in Fred's bed. I don't know who, all I know is it was a ginger.

"Aye get up." I say

"Huh, Oh hi George." it's Charlie.

"MUM!" I yell.

"Yes George? Oh Charlie, I told you not to sleep in Fred's bed." MUM says

"what's going on?" Ginny asks

"nothing honey, Charlie was in Fred's bed." mum says

"Why can't I sleep here?" Charlie asks

"Because, you can't." I say "So go to Ron's room or something." I say.

"okay I'm going in going." He says.

after mum remakes Fred's bed she goes back down stairs. I send an owl to the candy maker that makes puking pastries and then go to bed.
