"Zach?" I said, trying not to cry.
"Kim" he sighed.
"Are these photos real?" I asked.

He remained silent for a while.

"No, no they're not" he replied.

A wave of relief washed me, but at the same time there was doubt.

"T- they're f- fake?" I asked, shocked.
"Yes Kim, these are edited photos. I'm not cheating on you" he said.
"Oh my gosh Zach" I said, then pulled him into a hug.

I wrapped my arms around his neck, hugging him tightly and I felt him peck my cheek.

"You don't know how much i've missed you" I whispered.
"Me too Kim, I love you" he whispered back.

Agh, those words.

Those words that always take me back, but then he doesn't do it.

Or at least I don't feel that he does it.

"Thanks for the talk, i'm going to sleep now" I said, fixing my pants and gave him a small smile.
"Okay, take care. I love you" he said as I made my way towards his door.
"Love you too Zach" I replied, finally exiting his apartment.

Or do I?

The boys were chilling near the elevator, and I just smiled at Daniel when he saw me.

"Kim! How did everything go?" he asked.
"Um, good. Zach confirmed that the photos were not true" I replied with a smile.

Daniel looked at the boys confused, leaving me puzzled.

"Why?" I chuckled.
"N- nothing. I'm just shocked that he finally opened up to you" he replied.
"Oh okay. Well i've got to go now, see you guys" I waved at them.
"Bye" they said in-sync, and I enter my apartment.

I waited for the sound of her door close before letting out a sigh.

Suddenly, the boys rushed in my apartment.

"What's your problems?!" I whisper-exclaimed.
"I thought you needed privacy so you can finally tell her the truth! You lied to Kim again, Zach" Jack said.

I sighed deeply.

"I don't know guys, I can't tell her yet" I said.
"Well if you won't tell Kim then I w-" Daniel said, but Corbyn cut him off.
"Woah chill Daniel, let Zach do his thing" Corbyn pulled Daniel.
"What do you plan on doing now Zach?" Jonah asked.
"Nothing" I replied flatly, getting a bag of chips from the table.
"You can't just do nothing" Jack said.
"Zach, we're just concerned about Kim" Corbyn said.
"I'm concerned for Kim too Corbyn. How can I tell her that I lied?" I asked them.
"It's on you. We're just here to support you" Daniel replied.

Why did I even lied to her?

I just made things worse.

I just hurt her again.

I lied to her.

"Hey Z, we're going home now. We'll tell David we've found you" Jonah said.
"Do you wanna come with us?" Jack asked.
"Nah, i'm good here. I need time to think" I replied with a sigh.
"Make it up to her Zach" Corbyn said.
"Yeah, yeah I will" I nodded.
"Bye Zach" they said.
"Thanks guys, bye" I replied.

They exited my apartment and I was alone once again.

Suddenly, a notification popped in my phone.

'Mom: Honey! Thank gosh I know you're safe. Kim told me that you guys had talked already, and I'm proud of you. She refused to tell me where you stay, which I respect, but please don't do something you'll regret. Night honey'
