Troll bullshit and headcannons

Ancestor's skin are grey, they are just drawn in black because it's cool.

Troll horns (from the inside) do indeed have bones inside of them they are more for structure support, especially for highbloods since their horns can grow up to ridiculous heights.

The horns are sensitive not as in 'lol moaning and sex' they are sensitive in the ways that makes it feels awkward and will progressly get more and weird as you get closer to the scalp this is due to more nerves being near the bottom and less at the top of the horns.

Trolls can make various insect like sounds, like chirping (like a cricket), this is more like a way to sooth grubs, this is handy for Jade Bloods considering that they take care of grubs. It is also a means to bond/Argue/calm each other (like with the quadrants)

Their skin is rather thick (this explains how Karkat haven't been culled yet.) This prevents their the blood color from pigmenting the skin, and this is helpful for mutants (that survived grub-hood) to blend in much more easier.

You know when people say that troll different colors blood tastes different to a rainbow drinker? Well it the same for all trolls however it for the food the eat which is their babies. Like think it like this: "duudee! whaat doees thee gruubsaauucee taastee liikee?" "it Tastes Like Grapes Yo. i Don't Even Know What Grapes Are Too." "siick! miinee taastees liikee baanaanaas." This is pure bullshit right here but it gets the fucking picture of this shitty headcannon.
