Opposites attract (Erza x fem reader)

Chapter 8

You growled in annoyance walking outside looking into the sky.You squinted your eyes until you saw where the smoke came from and knew your deepest fear had come true.

You did not even feel Erza tug on your shoulder as your body grew colder by the second. It was the hospital that was in flames, where your a baby sister was staying in.

Not caring about the nightly attire you wore, you sliced through the air creating a portal with little to no effort.

You stepped through ignoring Erza yell in alarm as you entered a room engulfed by flames. Each second was precious as you covered your mouth, trying to find your sister and just then you heard a faint cough.

A lump formed in your throat seeing Freya look the way she did but each second counted. So you carefully lifted her and easily created another portal. You glanced back at Erza who also wore a concerned expression on her face.

"I'll get everyone else out. Take care of Freya", she spoke before transforming into one of her armours to save others who may be in danger.

You didn't dare look down as you walked into your masters room, causing disarray. He delicately took her from you, brushing her hair aside to calm her down.

"Please take care of her master, there are still others who need to be rescued", with that you grabbed nastu and happy by the collars, creating a portal.

The cool night breeze blew past your face as you all arrived, yet that same breeze did nothing to calm the flames destroying the hospital. As if you're all in sync Natsu and Happy wordlessly moved into the building, consuming any flames in their path, and rescuing people whilst you could see other nearby people help the wounded.

You parted your legs and took a deep breath, inhaling and exhaling in a rhythmic pattern. Sure enough the calm, cool breeze grew more and more chaotic by the millisecond causing grey clouds to cover the sky as rain instantly formed over the building.

Inhale and exhale were the simple movements you continued as the weather all but changed. Your clothes now becoming see through and the people who were once scared out of their wits, now all stared at you in fear and in amazement seeing one of the skills you possessed.

"Everyone cover your mouths now", your voice resounded losing its once gentle and soothing tone, now commanding and dominant making everyone in your presence obey.

The smoke which followed would easily harm all the sickly patients so with one hand you raised and with a single flick of your wrist smoke began to dissipate in the air whilst with your remaining hand, you wove it into a circle like motion causing a golden magic formation to form over the entirety of the building.

Golden snowflakes fell and touched the people below, at first they were scared of the spectacle but soon realised it was healing magic. Only touching those whom had severe and minor injuries. Of course this didn't mean they'd be instantly healed of every injury they possessed, only that no one present were in any life or death situation.

Once more you inhale and exhale releasing the clouds and the healing formation you had created, making the calm, cool night breeze to return and for the rain to stop. Only then did you open your eyes to see your friends and lover stand in front of you.

"Did you secure all patients?How much damage did the building receive. I'll need to formulate time and estimate of when the hospital is ready to fully function again", you spoke in your commanding tone, checking on patients whenever you could.

Erza looked at you for a second before nodding along with the boys to your first question.

"We got everyone out in time, as for your other questions we aren't too sure but we will in time know", she explained also helping an elderly woman to a seat nearby.
