Diana's POV:
We arrived at the watchtower 5 minutes later. Once we arrived, we got off the plane and headed straight to the monitor room where Clark was expecting us to meet him. We entered the monitor room and saw Clark facing one of the computers. Once he acknowledged our presence he then turned to face us.
"Talk." Bruce spoke first.
"Im glad the both of you have already arrive." Clark replied.
"Tell us straight to the point Clark." I demanded.
"Fine, the reason I called you both in here is that i'm assigning a new mission for you both."
"This better be important Clark, I left my own unfinished bussiness back in Gotham just to came here." Bruce replied to Clark. Annoyed.
"Dont worry, for I can assure you this mission is important."
"May I ask, what is this mission anyways?" I asked.
"This mission is regarding about darkseid's soon return."
"Soon return?" I spoke with a questioning tone.
"Yes, for Jonn discovered something while he was on a mission in Russia."
"What was his discovery?" Bruce asked crossing his arms at the same time.
"His discovery was the remains of the portal that darkseid used to get us from his birthworld."
"And so? That thing was broken as I can recall." Bruce spoke with a reassuring voice.
"It was once, but not anymore."
"How can you tell?" I asked Clark again.
"Jonn investigated the area for some time while he was still on his mission, he found out that the portal was undergoing repair."
"It looks like someone had been taking good care of it." Bruce said releasing his crossed arms from his chest.
"Someone actually does Bruce, the portal does not repair on its own."
"So thats the reason you called us in here?" But before Clark could even answer my question Bruce interrupted.
"So you want us to investigate the area." Bruce spoke.
"Indeed, and that is your mission."
"When will we leave for Russia?" I asked.
"If possible tonight will be the best schedule for departure."
"Agreed, Me and Diana will leave 8 PM sharp."
"Good." Clark spoke and finally left the room leaving me and Bruce behind.
"Bruce, what about your case that you are working on?" I asked Bruce turning to face him.
"Nothing to worry about it, Dick will handle the unfinish case that I started." Bruce replied to me with a reassuring voice.
"If you say so." I replied.
Shortly after our conversation ended, we got out of the monitor room and headed straight to the plane and flew out of the watchtower back to the manor.
