= Chapter 7 =

"So where were you yesterday?" Toni questions you on your arrival to school the following morning. 

"I accidentally slept in and thought what the heck, and stayed home all day." You smile at Toni as you waltz to your lockers. 

"Though I did feel a little lonely, not seeing you all day." You smirk at Toni as you lean yourself against the lockers joined to her own. Toni becoming flustered hides her blushing face behind her locker door, only her eyes showing. Connecting with your own. 

"So to make up for it, want to do something later?" Looking at Toni's figure as her face turns and is hidden from your view by her locker door. 

"Sure, what do you have in mind?" Toni closes her locker door noticing your attention distracted by another. 

"Why weren't you at school yesterday? You didn't text back I was starting to get worried." Betty's voice echoing through your ears as she stands with Jughead at the end of the crowd clustered hallway. 

"I overslept and then Dad came home asking for some help at the Worm." Looking down at Jughead from where you stand beside Toni. Watching as he turns to look at you himself, nodding his head. 

"(Y/n). (Y/n)!" Toni gently nudges your shoulder with her own. Her body now beside you instead of in front.

"Sorry." You quickly become attentive once again to Toni beside you. 

"Where did you go?" She asks bewildered. 

"Sorry, was just lost in thought is all. Well since I don't know much on what to do in this town how about you show me some of the things to do around here. Taking me where ever you want, I leave it up to you since I left you yesterday." Having to not need to go to your locker you follow beside Toni, escorting her to class before you part way to your own. 

"I will keep it a surprise then. You're not afraid of the woods are you?" Toni looks up at you. Single bag strap fallen from her shoulders as she clutches her books upon her chest. Her eyes lost in wonder and curiosity. 

"I'm not afraid of anything." You smirk before hearing the schools timetabled bell, smiling at her before you wander to your own cell of education. 

With the clock ticking by the time to the end of hell nearing. Your body after the alarming blare of the bell, races to met with Toni at cluster of bikes that fill the school's student parking. Pulling your helmet from the handles about to place it upon your head before mounting the bike, a voice stops you from proceeding. 

"Monster!" Jughead's voice booms across the carpark. With your helmet resting between your arm and body you pace towards him. 

"What are you going to do about Toni? You seem really how should I say, smitten with her." He stares down you in bewilderment. 

"I don't know Jughead. I didn't think I would be around this long, let alone still alive with the 'debt' I have." You look at Jughead your conscience mind not knowing what to do. 

"I guess I will just enjoy it while it lasts." You walk away from Jughead stuck in a state of terror and brokenness. Returning to your bike, pulling your helmet out from under your arm and taking it into your other hand. Looking up to see the girl you have been so fond of for the past week sitting upon your bike.
