Rainbow Dash and Pinkie have read a very alarming article in the Ponyville Chronicle newspaper. It says that their favourite author and secret pony adventurer A.K. Yearling, is retiring from writing her Daring Do books. A.K. Yearling would never retire out of the blue, something could be really wrong, Rainbow Dash cries. Pinkie and Rainbow Dash rush to A.K. Yearling's house. A.K. Yearling explains that the ponies in the village of Domnambula hate Daring Do because she's caused damage to the village in her quests to dave Equestria. Lets go to the village of Somnambula and make them realisr what a hero you are. Rainbow Dash declares and the three ponies set off for Somnambula. When they arrive Rainbow Dash asks the villagers about Daring Do. She destroys everything she touches, including our sacred statue, a mysterious cloaked pony say's and all the villagersagree. The manager of the get on inn where Daring Do once stayed, agrrrs. Daring Do caused lots of problems and she stole from us, the manager tells Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash. The strange claked pony appears again and he's still telling everypony how bad Daring Do is. Daring Do stole our special gems, glowpaz. Lets all meet at the sacred statue tomorrow, the closked pony declares. A.K. Yearling is even more upset than before the're blaming me for things i didnt do, she says. The following morning Pinkie and Rainbow Dash go to thr ststue, where the cloaked pony is telling thr other ponies how Daring Do stole from them. Daring Do would never steal anything cries Rainbow Dash, she only destroyed your statie while she was saving you all. The villagers tell her that the broken statue is of a legendary pony called Somnambula. Long ago the village was under siege from an evil sphinx and Somnambula, was the one pony that stood up to it. She was given a necklace of glowpaz from the son of the village's pharaoh in thanks. The village was named after Somnambula and glowpaz became the village's symbol of hooe. Rainbow Dash tries to convince them that Daring Do was being brave like Somnambula, but the cloaked pony did agrees. If Somnambula were herr today she's condemn Daring Do for destroying your i mean our symbol of hooe the cloaked pony argues. Once the crowd of village ponies have gone, the pony removes his cloak, and reveals he's Dr Caballeron, Daring Do's enemy. Caballeron and his hench ponies tie Rainbow Dash up and drag her away, so A.K. Yearling takes off her disguise, and comes to Rainbow Dash's rescue as Daring Do. Caballeron has tied Rainbow Dash up to a pillar which is slowly sinking in to a bubbling pit of smome. We need to make a leap of faith, declares Pinkie Pie when they find her, leaping in to the slime pit with Daring Do. Together they save Rainbow Dash from the slime just in time. They rush back to the village and stop Caballeron escaping with the stolen glowpaz. The villagers realise that it wasn't Daring Do who stole the glowpaz, but Caballeron. And he was trying to put the blame on her. I'm never going to give up protecing ponies from villains like you, Daring Do declares. All the villagers cheer as Daring Do fixes everything she's broken in the past and arranges for a new statue of Somnambula to be built. You should never give up hope and lose faith in yourself, all you've got to divis make things right Daring Do declares.
