Third Person's POV

Another day of school. Sun already rose and the student were already at Winter Fall Academy. Sun rays passing through the curtains, lighting the dark room where Allastair is peacefully sleeping. Messy hair, scawled body and the blanket pooling around his waist.

The alarm echoed through the room earning a groan from the sleeping boy. Las slowly opened his eyes fighting himself not to close it, he stretched his arms out and yawn. He went to do his morning routine. Once realising he's late, he did not finish his stuff.

"He's late again isn't he?" A woman's voice can be heard in the kitchen. "Name one time he isn't late mother." Another voice echoed but it isn't the same with the first one. This one sounded younger.

Footsteps coming from the stairs can be heard. It became louder and louder until you can see a blonde boy walking downstairs.

His hair is scrawled in different directions. His eyes glued to his phone while walking towards the table. "Gotta go, late again, bye mother" he said, not looking away from his phone. He finally looked away and stared at the girl that too is staring at him, "and sister" he said through gritted teeth and the girl only rolled her eyes.

He walked through the empty halls. By just this, he knew he is really late. The empty and quiet hall made him realise that. He cursed under his breat. Shit. He speed-walked to his first class which isn't a really good start, despite him being late.

He walked and walked feeling uncomfortable the silence is causing. The halls are always crowded, chatting here and chatting there. You could even see some students making out. So this rarely happens. Wonder why. Las thought. Even when class is going, you could always see some students cutting or in the halls atleast.

Las opened the door, the embarrassment never once caught him. All eyes are focused on him, including a really pissed one. "Mr. Bloodmist! For the last time, Can you not be late in my class! You are distracting your classmates who wants to learn!." His brows furrowed in anger, you could see him turning red.

"Ok, first of all, do not blame me, sir, blame my alarm clock. It didn't woke me up at the right time. Second-wait a minute." He took a deep breath and shouted "To those people who actually listens to this subject, please, raise your hand!" No one, as in no one. No one raised a single hand. "Well, that's my second. So I am not really distracting something, am I now, Mr. I don't know?"

His face turned into an embarrassed and pissed one. He opened his mouth to object but quickly shut it, he knew he couldn't win over Las. Everyone knew that.

As the boring lecture continued, Las was focused on the sky. He knew the full moon is near, his feelings are a mixed of an excited one and a nervous one. He knew he's designated to this but the thought of him changing after all of this kinda scares him. And also, what had happen earlier.

The bell rang making the students cheer. The cheering mixed with the bell's ring made Las snapped from his thought.

He still couldn't believe what happened earlier. He couldn't believe one of his relatives was killed. No one ever dared to hurt one of the royalties. Especially his cousin.

Flashback:

The teacher scoffed and gestured Las to seat beside the window. Las, pridefully, walked to his designated seat. He didn't focused on the lesson, he never did. He rested his head on the table, pulling both of his arms, forming an arm barrier.

He closed his eyes, planning to drift off to sleep. A voice echoed through his mind. The voice sounded deep and a hint of worried, "Prince Allastair, the king wants you to come back here for a meeting and..." the voice trailed off. Las started to worry, he knew this voice. It was the same voice who trained him to fight. It was one of the warriors, Josh's dad.

"And?" Las thought at his head, waiting impatiently. "And for something. The queen and the princess has been informed. The king needs all of you tonight, my prince. Especially you" the voice stopped. Ending the conversation, yet the voice didn't actually answer Las' question. Las went on again, "Something? What kind of something?" He asked again. The voice sighed and inhaled sharply as the voice continued,

"Your cousin, Princess Amber Bloodmist, has been killed, my prince"

Flashback Over

The blonde boy walked through the loud hallways. His mind lost in thought, as he walked through the crown to find his friends. 'I have to get back tonight.' Las thought, his classes ends at 7:00 pm, he still needs an excuse for the principal to believe along with the others.

"We need an excuse." Las said, he had found the other 3 and took them to a place where no one goes, "For what?" Avy asked, confused as why Las suddenly became serious. "We need to get back home. Tonight" The other's looked at each other and nodded.

"Ok, you, Connor, punch me" Connor looked at him with wide eyes "But, Las, I can't do that. Besides you know the rules! We can't hurt a roya-"

"Fuck the rules!" Las bursted, finally reaching his limits. "If you can't do it, I'll do it myself" He pulled his hand and swung it around his face, his hands and face bleeding. He pulled something from his pockets and dripped it to his bleeding face. The others looked at him with wide eyes, their eyes not believing of what the prince did to himself.

The 4 walked through the halls, heading to the principal's office. Las took a hold of the door handle before turning to the others, he nodded as the others did the same. Finally, he opened the doors, meeting with the principal, he faked his face to look more even hurt so it suits his face.

The others waited for him, they are already done with the excuses. They're still confused of what's going on. The door finally open, revealing Las, "Let's go" he ordered as they walked home. They all went to Las' house. "Mother?" He said as they walked to the living room. He mind linked her to be sure she's alright. "L-las" a voice answeres his calls, his mother sobbed as she cried through the mind link, "Where are you? Are you alright?" His voice was gentle as he asked. "W-we're already b-back home." More sobs can be heard. "Ok, mother, We will go there at a minute"

"Ok, I think we have the rights to know what's going on." Las turned to them as he sighed. The others waiting for him to finally speak.

"Princess Amber.."

He took a deep breath,

"Has been killed"
