Chapter 12 'Two Personalities'

Flashback Over:

Allastair's POV:

I just sat there. Crying. I couldn't do anything to make her come back, I promised I would avenge her. A promise is a promise. It is never meant to be broken.

After crying for several minutes, I felt my body getting numb and my eyelids getting heavier. I closed my eyes, my body fell, "thud", I could hear them screaming, "Allastair!" "Quick get someone!" But it's not the only screaming I heard, "Go Die!" "Freak!!" "Go to hell!!"

My eyes started getting wet again, I don't want to go back, "Please, please, st-op. It hurts please.." I pleaded for them, but nobody heard me. I cried until my consciousness left me.

I woke up, sunlight hitting me 'Damn, you still hate me even here??' I sat up but I heard a bone cracked, "Ahhh, shit"

"Oh, you're awake" I heard a voice coming from the door, an old man is standing there "Goodmorning" he smiled. "Who are you?" He chuckled "You don't have to know" Seriously, this is the first time I ever see him.

"Las!!" Mother broked into my room without knocking. Rude. "Are you ok?!" Yeah, mom, I'm fine. "Yeah, I'm ok" my father walked into my room, then Avy, Con and Josh. Gosh, how long did I sleep??

"1 week" 1 WEEK?! WTF. "Woooooow" they laughed but turned serious. They faced the old man which is I don't know who the freak is. "What happened?" Father asked "He has 2 personalities, I must say" whhaattt??? 2 personalities?? "One is his normal self, but the other is far more dangerous, this other self is there to defend him, fight for him and if this other self take over, He will never be the same again"

I'll never be myself again. I don't want that. I'll hurt everybody, I'll hurt all of them. I grabbed a mirror and looked at myself. My reflection smirked. I quickly threw it on the ground, shattered to pieces. I have to stay in control, I had to.

"Las" mother called, "drink this, you haven't eaten in 1 week. You need strength" she gave me a glass of blood. I thanked her and drank it. It taste different, more delicious, more addictive. I drank it all, not leaving a single drop.

I closed my eyes, inhaling the scent before realizing something. I turned to mom, "Wait, Mother, is this?" She nodded, "Yes it is, human blood will give 10x of the strength an animal blood gives you" I nodded.

"When will I go back?" I asked, "3 days. You can go back to the human world in 3 days" said the old man. I lowkey wanna know who this guy is. "Who are you? I just wanna know" he smiled, "Adrastos"

"God, I missed this!" I said while munching on foods. Nom nom nom. "It's deliciousss!!" Con said while stuffing his face with food. "Tell me about it" Avy chuckled, how can she eat so neatly? My gaze landed on Josh, standing at the door. He looked hungry so why not offer him some food?

I swallowed before turning to Josh, "Hey Josh!" He snapped his gaze towards me. He vowed "Your higness?" I nodded then he stand straight. "I told you to stop treating me like that. We're friends" he smiled, "I can't your highness, I told you I will only perform that in the human world. We're in our world, and in our world, You're a royal, I'm a knight. A knight must protect it's ruler."

"Fucking bullshit" I laughed, "As your prince, I order you to sit with us and eat as friends" he smiled as he vowed once more, "As you wish, my prince" He sat beside me and ate. We talked about each other. Josh, Avy, Con and Me, just being ourselves.
