Chapter 4 - Prank

I muched happily of the remaining pizza, then take a gulp of fresh milk, after a few minutes

im done, now its time for me to clean the table and also the left dishes from breakfast..

I start washing them with a flash and then, another few more minutes Im already finish, I look at my wrist watch its now 4:37.. I think im gonna freshen myself up.

I headed up stairs, open my luggage and grab  my towel and the toiletries I used inside the bathroom.. There's a hot and cold shower but, I choosed cold water instead.. After a while I get out of the bathroom and go to the sink to brush my teeth.. When im finished,  i headed to my room, not noticing that the door of Jake's room is slightly open..

I closed the door, sat at the bed.. while looking at my clothes and not knowing what to wear, I hear some noise outside the door.. I turn to look at the door, but nothing happened,  as I about to pick my clothes,  I heard a loud knock..  

"Wait! I'll be there in a moment!" i said aloud before I stand and walk towards the door, i grabbed the doorknob then open it slowly, to my dismay. There's no one infront of the door. I tilt my head outside to look but,I see nothing.

there's no one outside.. Is it possible that was wind? But, I can feel theres no wind blowing. Then a strange pang hit me, my heart began to beat so fast, i held tightly at the door knob.. could it be someone? I cleared my throat.. and open my mouth to say something..

"Hee-lloo.." my voice was trembling.. Seriously?! I breathe out to calm myself...  

"hello? Is anyone there?!.." but, no one answered, again my heart beat becomes faster.. I remembered all those horror movies ive watched along with my sister inlaw, thats was horrifying and scary.. Then  my goosebumps starting to raise..  

"ok, im going to close my door now.." i shout,still waiting, but still no one answered so i hurriedly close the door.. I walk to my bed, then i heard it again..

Knock! Knock!..  

Shit! Chills run down to my spine and so my goosebumps now standing at my pale skin...

"Creep!"  I nervously told myself..

"Whose there?!" I asked,in a high tone.. looking at my door

"Oh, god! Help me!" I whisper softly.. I can hear my super heavier breathe.. Im starting to panic.. Then there goes again..

Knock! Knock! Knock!    

"hey, if youre not gonna talk, im going to call the cops" I move slowly to the door..

Knock! Knock!

"im not gonna open it until you tell me who you are,"  then she hear a loud noise outside the door... And the doorknob starting to turn..

Click!  

I stood there froozen to the ground, I cant move.. Id realized I didnt lock my door.. Shit! Then the door starting to open slowly.. I held tightly at my towel wrapping my body..

Then I heard  un ugly voice starting to count, 1, .. 2, .. 3 ,.. 4,.. I closed my eyes, just the sound of it makes me sick, like the voice is coming from the undead..

"Gotcha!!!!!" A cold hand grab my shoulder,  thats when I let out a loud piercing scream...  

"Cut it out Diana, your hurting my ears.."  I hear a loud crazy laugh, I opened my eyes, surprisingly and a little annoyed to see who it was.. Its coming from no other than Jake, bursting into laughter.. I made a face..

"its not funny! you scared mo to death!" I told him and shot him an angry look.. i was controlling my temper..

"but, you look so funny!"  Jake chuckled softly, then he flash his white teeth at me, like a model of a toothpaste in a tv commercial.. Gosh! He looks awesomely handsome..

Then all of a sudden he burts out laughing again.. This guy is unbelievable, he might be suffering from a severe mind problem.

"Satisfied?!" I flash a mocking smile at him.. "You almost killed me, I thought I might have a heart attack, you freak!"  I give him my most hideous looks.

"Easy, easy.. I didnt mean it that that way!" He answered with so much confidence I almost wanted to smuck his face.

"Stop laughing at my expense, do you mind? Im not your toy, so leave me alone" I said irritatingly.. My face is red now, I could feel smoke coming out from my nostrils.. I try to calm myself, then I remember something..

"You see, I have to.."  I didnt finish what i have to say, I just held my towel tightly and look at him completely annoyed. Jake look at me, questionably. For a second he didnt get what i said. then his eyes moved down."What the hell is he doing?" shouted at the back of my head. I can see, He's checking on me, and its rude to stare like that, specially if that girl is wearing only a towel..

PERV! My face is getting red, i know I can feel it.. Then he look at me again, looking serious.. When our eyes met, I look away.. Gosh! I hear my heart start to beat fast.. Then i see his jaw moved.. his adams apple moved up and down.. his face stiffened.. I dont know why, but I can say something is wrong with him.. Then I heard him say...  

"Okay, then see you later Dianna.." he grinned.. But, theres something in his eyes.. I dont know what it is..

"So what, I dont care!.." I thought to myself..  

"Okay,"  I said.. I didn't wait for another word from him, I closed the door instantly..  

"Seriously?! what is happening to me?"  I asked myself.. "grrrr! I know he looks good, but It cant be, he's a jerk, a rude and a moron.. I told myself..

"That's it! hes your boss, nothing more, nothing less.." period! "And he stupidly put a prank on you!" I try to focus on myself.. After I dressed up, I busied myself arranging all my stuff and putting everything to its place. my clothes are neatly tucked inside the cabinet and i put my shoes and sandals under it. My make up, perfume and other things are in my dresser along with my head brush.

Lastly I stuffed my handbag and luggage on top of the cabinet.
