Love , So Bittersweet

Chapter 1:A Life Amongst Others...

Our story begins on the outskirts of Orlando Florida . A boy in his teen years sits lonely in a park spinning a rugby ball on his finger . A smile brighter than day was contorted on his face . The boy kept glancing at his phone texting someone . The Boy couldn't stop smiling as the ball was stopped by his other hand . The rugby ball fell to meet the bridge of his foot sending it high and far .

A couple hours of this continued until the boy found himself staring at a ceiling with music playing softly in the background . This boy whispered to himself , " Damnit Eric , why'd you let yourself fall in love ." His tone of voice was sad knowing his heart would inevitably be broken .

His phone buzzed on his chest which Eric had a delayed response to . He lifted his phone to find a text from the girl his heart fell and jumped for . The text simply said ' Heyyyyy , I just wanted to tell you you're freakin' amazing , and super cute . I really miss you silly and can't wait to see you again ' . This text contorted Eric's face into a large smile his heart beginning to race as he texted back : " Thanks babe , you're absolutely incredible and so gorgeous . I miss you too , only a couple more days until I get to hold you ."

Eric sat in that same spot texting until he couldn't see the ceiling because of the darkness , in response he looked around and through muscle memory walked out of his room . Eric removed the USA rugby hoodie revealing a fairly defined upper body . Eric turned his shower on feeling the cold water shoot across his bare arm . He continued to strip as the room filled with a thick steam.

He stepped into the shower feeling his heart dropped at the thought of his significant other . It took Eric about 25 minutes before he had gotten out , the soreness in his muscles now making themselves obvious . He put on a pair of black shorts coming halfway up his thighs , and put that same USA rugby hoodie on . His legs trembled as he carried himself down the stairs feeling his phone buzz in his jacket .

He was met with a fridge opening it to grab one of the many chicken , rice , and broccoli meals he had made . He didn't warm it up , instead he took a plastic fork and bottle of water and walked back to his room .

Eric's room was dark and lonely , which he hadn't seemed to mind . He sat down removing his phone from his pocket and opening his meal . A text from that same girl ' hey um - I'm sorry if this is weird , but can you come over . My house is super lonely and I feel bad without you.' Eric chuckled at the text and quickly ate the meal and grabbed his car keys . He texted the girl back ' yeah I'm on my way .'

He walked down his stairs and saw his parents both asleep on the couch . Eric quietly opened the front door hearing it squeak silently . He exited the house with the porch light showing him in detail . Eric was decently big at 6'1 about 195 lb . Eric wore glasses and had a brown right parted fade haircut .

Eric hopped into his 2016 Dodge Ram quickly turning the heat on as he started the truck . He backed out of the driveway and began his journey . He felt his heart sink once again after seeing a white case which held a present for the girl . The three mile journey conceded quickly as he parked in her empty driveway .

Eric exited the truck and sent the female a text with simply , ' I'm here .' He approached the front door only to see the beautiful girl standing behind the glass with a smile . The girl was petite around 5'2 100lb , with a lack of bust on her upper body and a different story on her lower body . Her hair was long and blonde she also wore glasses which made her that much more attractive to Eric . Eric entered the house kissing the girl ," hey lin (lindsey) , I missed you ."
