Piggy Back Ride 2 [Hinata X Kageyama, Fluff]

I arrived at the festival a bit early and started walking around a bit, deciding what I wanted to eat later on. Then I met Suga and Daichi who were also wearing yukatas. We greeted and complimented each others yukatas, then I told them that I was waiting for Kageyama to arrive and they were surprised as well. We decided to wait for him together so we stood there and talked about all different kinds of things until he arrived. At first I didn't even notice him. His yukata was gorgeous and fit him very well. I got a strange feeling in my stomach as he approached us.
"Ah, Kageyama? Wow, I never imagined you were the type to wear something like this. But it fits you very well!" Suga said to him as he was only a few feet away.
"Thank you, Suga! Hi everyone!"
It seemed as if he was in a really good mood today. I smiled widely.
"Why are you similing so stupidly?" he asked me.
"I'm just so happy right now! Come on, let's go around and buy delicious food!" We then parted from Suga and Daichi who were running off in differend directions. I grabbed Kageyamas arm and dragged him to some booths that sold food I wanted.

"Look Kageyama! Everything looks so delicious! I can't even decide what to buy!" I said while almost drooling in front of the food.
"To... bio. Y-You can say Tobio..." he mumbled. I almost didn't catch what he was saying but I was sure that was what he meant.
"Oh, uhm... R-Really?! Well then... You can call me Shoyo as well!"
I was a bit embarrassed but somehow I felt really happy as well. If he told me to call him by his first name then he probably wanted to be my friend!

"We can just share if you want. I'll take the omelette and you'll take the noodles and we'll share." Tobio (Aah! I'm really calling him Tobio!!) suggested.
"Good idea, let's do that!"

We were having a lot of fun, eating a LOT of things and talking a lot. Then I looked at my phone to check the time and noticed that it was already 11:50pm.
"Kag- Tobio! The firework's going zo start in 10 minutes!"
"Ah, you're right! Let's go somewhere we can see it properly."
He took my hand and pulled me with him. I almost tumbled over but he caught me and apologized for causing me to almost fall.
"No problem at all! Let's watch the sky! The firework will start any minute!"
Then we looked up but nothing happened. After a few seconds of staring into the sky, Kageyama spoke to me.
"You know... I wanted to tell you sooner but I didn't have the courage to do so. You look really cute in your yukata." he stated without looking at me. I watched him and noticed a slight blush on his cheeks.
"Oh, t-thank you... I, uhm... Your yukata fits you very well, too."
"S-Shoyo, I have to tell you something..."
A slight shiver ran down my spine at him saying my first name. What's wrong with me?!
"Huh? What is it?"
"I think I'm..."
The fireworks exploding cut him off in the middle of his sentence. I looked up immediately but noticed that I couldn't see a thing.
"Ah, I can't see anything!" I shouted. All the people in front of me were to big.

Then all of a sudden Kageyama went in front of me and crouched down gesturing for me to hop on. I blushed furiousely at the thought of him giving me a piggy back ride. I was frozen and couldn't move.
"Come on, hop on! You'll miss the whole firework!"
Then I crawled on his back and put ma arms around his neck to support my body. He grabbed my legs and lifted me high up in the air with ease.
"Wooow, I can see everything from up here! It's amazing!"
Then Kageyama chuckled all of a sudden. Wait... He chuckled?! Huh?!
"Why are you laughing??"
"Because you're so cute, dumbass."
I didn't know how to respond to that other than blush even more than before.

When the grand finale came we watched in awe, both of us mesmerized. After that he let me down again and my knees gave in but he caught me.
"Woah, everything alright?"
"Ah, yeah thanks, I'm fine..."
"Shoyo... What I wanted to tell you before..."
"Yeah...?"
He now came closer and held me tight.
"I... Fuck, okay. I'm just gonna say this now, okay? I think... I think I'm in love with you..."
We stood there in silence watching each other for a few seconds. Before I could even process what was going on, Kageyama moved closer until our lips were almost touching. I reflexively put my hands on his chest.
" How about you...? " he whispered into my ear, causing me to shiver.
I couldn't think rationally anymore so I just went ahead and closed the small gap between our lips and kissed him softly at first. Then our kiss deepened and got a bit rougher. I really enjoyed this feeling. It felt so right...

When we parted I looked at him and smiled. He couldn't help it and smiled at me as well. We then hugged tightly and I whispered "I love you, Tobio."
"I love you too, Shoyo." We must've stood there like this for minutes but it felt so good neither of us wanted to let go.

All the while Suga and Daichi were watching with big smiles on their faces.
"Finally!" Suga said to Daichi and dove in for a quick kiss.

Thank you soo much for reading the first one shot of this book. I really enjoy making fanfics of my fav. ships and I like it if you enjoy them as well! Just to inform you I wanted to tell you that English isn't my first language (I'm from Austria! 🇦🇹) so there could be a few spelling/grammar mistakes but I hope you don't mind!
