a little story ;3

Just as you and the Crystal Gems were laying on the soft grass next to the lighthouse, a shadow covered you. Steven stood up, staring into the sky with fear. A strange machine or ship came down from the sky, a drill at the bottom of it. What is this? Didn’t you just sing a song about your happy ending?

“Hey!” A voice called down “Are you Steven Universe?!”

“Uh...Yes?”

“Perfect...”

The drill buried itself deep into the ground, the pink liquid inside of the ship swayed and drained just a small percentage into the Earth. 

 The figure jumped down to a lower platform, looking up at the group of heroes. “Well, well, well, well! Lemme get a look at the menagerie~! You must be Amethyst. You must be Garnet. And-hm?” The pink gem focused on you “Well, hello nurse~! Nice face,” She spoke with a wink. This gem...was flirting with you? Right after sticking her drill into your Earth? Yikes. 

“And Pink Diamond’s Pearl! She took you with her! Isn’t that just...swell?!” The pink alien then had a conversation with the gems that everyone knows by now. I’ll just skip to after ‘Other Friends’ (btw she tries to avoid hurting you during the fight, she does tease you a bit though uwu)

The gems were all poofed except for Steven. “That’s enough!” You hid behind your friend as he summoned his shield, protecting both you and him from the villain. 

“Aaw~.What’s the matter,Steven~? Miss your friends already?” The toon mocked “Well don’t worry! You’re right behind them!” The gem tried to take a swing at him, though the half gem seemed to be unaffected. 

“That was nothing!”

“Then I guess you won’t mind if I do it again!” With two mores strikes, Steven was still standing. Though, he tragically couldn’t stop the gem from hitting him on the head with the long metal part of her rejuvenator, knocking him unconscious. You watched as the boy passed out in front of you, or at least he was too tired to get up or something.

“W-what are you doing? What do you want?” You stepped back.

“Hmm~You’d like to find out, wouldn’t ya?” With a click, the scythe-like weapon went back into its harmless form and the gem dropped it to the floor as though it was now useless. She stepped towards you, chuckling lightly. You felt helpless. You needed to help the gems, you needed to help Steven-but you needed to get away from her. As you stepped back slowly, you stumbled and hit the floor, earning a chuckle from the alien.

“You’re quite cute,actually. Stay like that for a moment, would ya? Just for me~?” She approached you with a smirk. She began to crawl on top of you as your throat went dry. What was she doing? Your heart was racing as the-admittedly charming-gem pulled you closer to her. “Hm~...Could I steal a kiss, doll?” 

You stared in shock, unable to answer as you stuttered and stumbled over your words. You realised her arms were slowly slithering around you multiple times, keeping you in place...but you felt how gentle she was being, as though you were a delicate prize. Behind the gem was Steven, shaking his head as he sat up before noticing the scene in front of him. The boy made eye contact with you, and made up his mind. He silently picked up the rejuvinator from the ground, activating it as he approached the gem. You realised what you had to do.

“Well, doll?”

“...W-well, if it’s just one kiss.” You smiled shyly at the now grinning (and blushing) toon. She pulled you closer, closing the distance between your lips. It was oddly soothing, feeling her gloved hand caress the side of your face as though she really loved you. Maybe..Maybe she did? You pulled away, your face red as heck. You were still too flustered to see that Steven was already about to hit the alien with the gem tech. You flinched and shut your eyes as she giggled hysterically. Poof.

“...She was a good kisser.”
