We thought them peaceful for their bright colors and ship that sheds rainbows. But they made landfall and immediately all the children were... infected. The laughter never stopped, and all and unison they chanted "Boobhah, boobhah, boobhah". The creatures finally emerged after 5 days. Most children have died of dehydration, save the ones that could be put on life support in the comas they entered after the third day. As the creatures flew out of their pods, they offended and gathered information as they drained what was little left of the planets young ones. "Boobhah" was the last and only word anyone heard from a child. In my timeline, it has been 7 years with no infant living past the age it can first form the dreaded word before it is drained. We have lost hope, and we may very well lose our species. There are rumors of a government program that could counteract these monsters CODENAME: TELETUBBIES
Whatever it is it is all we have left.I'm leaving this recording for a future generation, if there is one, in hopes that these creatures can be defeated. Good luck....
