I woke up abruptly. I looked around, checking my location to see that I was in fact in my new room, with Jack asleep next to me.
He woke up from my sudden movement in a panic, "Are you okay?"
I nodded, "Yeah I just had a really weird dream, it's fine, go back to sleep. I'm gonna go get some water." I said, kissing Jack on the cheek and getting up. He laid back down and instantly went back to sleep.
I walked down the steps and got a glass of water before coming back upstairs. Wow. I knew I wanted Jack in my future, but I didn't think I would dream on marrying him and having 4 kids with him. I guess I really am whipped.
I smiled to myself and got back in bed, cuddling up to Jack.

The next morning I felt Jack tapping my shoulder, "Cmon babe, wake up, we have our first official game today." He said cheerfully.
I groaned, rolling back into my pillow, "It's too early." He laughed, "You said that the last five times I woke you up."
I rubbed my eyes, finally giving in, and sat up. Jack smiled at me and I pouted, heading to the bathroom.
"Don't be such a grump." He said from my room, getting dressed. Jack kept his clothes here a lot. My dad really didn't know when Jack slept over because he was usually out by the morning, or I usually snuck him out.
"I'm not a grump." I said, putting toothpaste on my brush and brushing my teeth. I went on my phone as I brushed my teeth, seeing I had a message from my dad and a message from will.
Will had sadly been drafted to the Rangers, but I'm also thankful that he wasn't across the country, and was in the next state over.
Will - good luck today💗
Me - thanks, see u in 4 days😏
I smiled to myself, knowing that I would finally be able to see will after a month of not seeing him. It'll be even more fun getting to play against him, too.
Dad - I had to go to the rink early to sign some paper work, I'll see you there later.
I responded okay, and finished brushing my teeth, getting dressed.

After practice, I came back and took another nap, anticipating my first game today. What would I wear? The boys usually wear suits and stuff. And what are people gonna say.Whatever. I can do this.
I put on some concealer and mascara, curling the ends of my hair. I then went to my closet and went through outfits until I found the perfect one.
I walked down the steps to see my dad smiling, and Jack with his mouth wide open.
My dad came over and hugged me, "I'm so proud of you and everything you've accomplished." He said with teary eyes.
I grinned at him, "Thanks dad, love you."
