What if?

The usual me

"Good morning sir!"
The employees greet As they see me, walking.

While I was on my way to dad's office, a lady came close my way. I stared at her, wondering if I've seen her around before. She looks pretty and nice. I think she's older than me by 2-3 years. *I smiled*

I approached her and said,

"Are you new here?"

" Yes sir." She told me.

"Ah, I see" I said as I nod my head.

"Sir, Mr. Dela Vega's been waiting for you inside his office."
She added.

" Is he busy or something?"
I asked while staring at her.

"He's just checking some paper works sir." She answered.

"Okay, I'll just get in."
I walked toward dad's office. When I got in front, I knocked on the door.

"Come in" Dad said.

I talked to him and said,

"Pa, good morning, do I need to do some stuffs here?"

"Yes son, check the company's progress, here's the key to your office."

After giving me the keys, he asked me bout his newly hired employee.

"Juaquin, have you met Ella?"
He asked while searching something in his drawer.

"Ella? Who is she Pa?"
*wondering*

"Our new employee. I told her to remind you that I'm waiting at my office when you arrive."
He added.

"So Ella's her name.."
*smiling* "I'll go ahead pa."

*he nodded while signing papers*

I got inside my work room, or should I say an extension of dad's office, because I never dreamt to manage one.

"Let's see.. Last year.. Bout 75% of the shipment reached it's quota.
But for this year.. It aimed for about 88%. Meaning, the company's doing great! 13% has increased! From the look of it, stocks will be increasing too."
"This is great." I added.
"Stock holders will be urged to invest more. This would result to a job well done for the Company!"

While saying those words, I have no doubt that my father will smile for good.

I was differentiating the company's progress while somebody knocked on the door.

"Come in." I said

"Sir, Good morning. Here's your espresso." She said on a gentle voice.

I told her to place the espresso on the left side of my desk.

I smiled and thanked her for it.

"Ella, I got no more things to ask. So you may go now." I told her.

*something's got into my mind *

I'm not saying that I am handsome. But when it comes to girls, I find it cool seeing them shy while staring or talking to me. Anyway when Ella was about to went out at my work room. I saw her glanced. The usual me.. It doesn't matter sometimes.

Ella's fine as well as the other girls. It's just, I find Quira more interesting. Aside from having a colorful personality, with just a simple hi, she makes me wanna smile. I hope that simple hi will never turn into goodbye.

This is the usual me, rarely gets serious. Because if I do, everyone might get curious.
