I was standing on top in the middle of the two stairs and looked at the group downstairs. They seemed different from the people I had seen here before. No giggles, no loud noises or shouting. They helped each other. The way they had reacted when the boy was caught on fire was impressive. I had seen friends turning against each other and leave their friend burn to death. They even were determined to find their lost friend. They seem to have a strong bond of friendship. I was wondering if that was enough to survive. Who knew. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. After all, this was just the beginning.
