"Honey, I'm home!" I called into the house.

I heard Marie's hurried steps down the stairs, "Thank God, you're back Snickerdoodle! You're food's simmering on the stove," she played along.

"Ahhh, babe thank you so much! What would I do without you Sweetcheeks?" I cried to her as I closed the door to the pack house.

"Anyway, how was your little hang out with your maaaaatessssss," she mocked me as she grabbed my face and squeezed my cheeks.

'Maybe if you let my face go, I could tell you' I mind-linked her

"Oh, yeah," she said letting my face go. "Sooooo?"

I grabbed a hold of her shoulders, and walked ourselves around in a semi circle then let her go, "Well......"

"Yeah...."

"I'm not telling you!" I yelled as I ran up the stairs to my room and closed the door before she could enter.

'I'm going to get your ass. Watch' she told me mentally.

I rolled my eyes, "yeah, right," I said through the door.

Marie laughed at me then yelled "MOMMA!" Like Oscar from The Proud Family.

'You Bitch!' I sneered at her in the mindlink.

"Yes, baby," I heard my mom say from outside the door.

"Y/N's back, and she won't tell me why," I heard the little sneaky bitch whine to our mom.

"Is she now? Well, I bet you she'll tell me," as soon as she said that someone began banging on my door. "Y/N, you have 5 seconds to open up this door for I break it!"

I unlocked my door with a quick click and slid it open. The first thing I did was glare at a smirking Marie, then looked at my mom and said, "heyyyyyy momma! Don't you look beautiful as you do everyday!"

My mom shook her head and smirked, "cut the shit. Now I know that you were coming home later than usual, but why? What you do today?"

"Well," I began to slide my foot across the floor. "I met them, Ma."

"Met who?"

"My mates," I said trailing off at the s.

"Really, what's his name? Her name?" She exclaimed pulling me by my arm into my room towards my bed.

As I sat down, I began what I knew to be a long conversation, "their names are," I stopped already predicting what was to happen.

"Names as in plural? More than one?" She started.

I picked up on Marie's sneaky ass laughing from the doorway as if this shit was funny.

"Yeah, I have 5."
