The wedding was a marvelous one.

You had watched from the shadows. Petra had originally wanted you to be her bridesmaid. You had politely declined, lying about how you had to train for the upcoming expedition. You knew it would be utter hell if you were her bridesmaid. You would probably burst into tears halfway through the ceremony.

You weren't going to lie, Petra's dress was absolutely beautiful, and it made her look gorgeous. And Levi... Levi. He looked absolutely striking in his black tuxedo. You were so tempted to just run up to the alter and kiss him.

When Petra had walked down the aisle, clutching a bouquet of red roses in hand, she had smiled like there was no tomorrow. And the way that Levi had looked at her. Like she was the most precious thing in the world. Oh, how you wished he would look at you like that. But, you could tell that he was truly in love with her, and you could do nothing about it.

If only you had confessed to him... Maybe, just maybe, you could've been the one walking down the aisle. The one to be his bride.
