Flashback:

You laughed hysterically. You just stole a loaf of bread from the bakery. You tore off a piece and shoved it into your mouth as you ran from the angry baker.

Ahh... food. Anything tastes good when you're hungry, even a loaf of plain, white bread.

You turned into a dark alley and took cover until you were sure that the baker was gone.

"Haha. Stupid bitch," you smirked while tossing another piece of bread into your mouth.

Victory tasted good.

You walked out onto the streets of the Underground making sure to avoid eye contact with everybody. Unfortunately, you couldn't see what was in front of you and ran right into somebody.

Shit.

You looked up and your (E/C) eyes were met with a pair of cool grey ones. You had run into a short man with quite a handsome face.

"Watch where you're going, Shorty," you grumbled while roughly shoving past him.

"Excuse me?" he growled. The man grabbed your arm, picked you up by the collar, and shoved you to the ground.

"Hey, hey, hey!" the girl next to him exclaimed. "No need to be violent with this girl, Levi!" She offered her hand which you gladly took.

You brushed yourself off. How dare he? Who does this Shorty think he is?

You walked up to him and slapped him across his face. He looked vaguely surprised.

But you weren't done there. Oh no - you were going to teach this shortass a lesson. You punched him in the gut, and while he was distracted, you kicked at his legs, and he went flying backwards, falling to the ground.

You were the champion when it came to hand-to-hand combat.

"That's what you get for getting my pants dirty," you smirked.

His two friends looked appalled at what just happened. There eyes were wide and their jaws were dropped.

As the short man stood up again, he looked mildly amused.

"It's been a long time since someone has thrown me down like that," he said. "I like you. You've got game."

"Big bro, can she join us?" the girl asked, with a huge grin on her face.

He thought for a moment. "Sure. Why not? If she wants to, of course."

The girl looked over to you with hopeful, begging eyes.

Well... you really had nothing better to do.

"Sure," you agreed.

You could've sworn you saw Levi's lips curve into a genuine smile, but perhaps it was only a hallucination.

From that moment on, you became part of them - The Underground Havoc Wreckers. Levi, Isabelle, and Farlan became your best friends.

Sometimes you wondered what life in the Underground would have been like. Would you and Levi have gotten married? Would you guys have lived a happy life? Millions of questions ran through your mind.

You smiled with tears streaming down your eyes as you thought about Isabelle's cheerfulness and Farlan's seriousness.

"Isabelle... Farlan... I wish you were here. I wish I could talk to you guys again."
