"ELISHA !" My mother called for me & I laid my son down back in his crib .
I began to walk down the steps & into the kitchen where my mother stood at the kitchen counter . She had a few envelopes in her hand .
"Yes ?" I answered to her .
"I understand that you need a place to stay & know that you're back we need to make some changes .." She stated .
"Here .. Light bill , gas bill ." She handed me the envelopes one by one .
I looked down at my hand then back up at her .
"Just pay them , & you can stay here as long as you need ." She said .
I nodded my head before heading back up the steps to my room . My phone rang on my bed & I reached over answering .
"Hello?"
"What you doing right now ? Slide through ." Samir asked me.
