the two arrived to the bus stop, which wasn't that far from the usual bar both of them work at.

Baekhyun doesn't have a car, he has many part time jobs because he has an hard time keeping on with the rent and daily necessities, as well as treating himself sometimes as well, he couldn't afford a fancy car, and had too much pride to buy a second hand car.

taehyung found hard even eating twice a day. do you really think he had money to buy some kind of vehicle? even though after getting a part time job his finances have gotten better, buying a car is out of question.

not long after their arrival the bus landed in front of them, baekhyun happy after the not so long wait, took taehyung by hand and excitedly pulled his younger friend with him on the bus.

there's only one sit available, baekhyun, being the good hyung he is invited taehyung to sit, which he agreed on.
standing tall in presence of taehyung, who is quite taller than baekhyun himself, felt so satisfying, if he had to be honest.

"so, do you have anything in mind?" taehyung restarted a conversation, after the one they had at the bus stop, which had as the main topic baekhyun neighbor doing some mature stuff all night long.

"about what?" the older asked, absolutely forgetting why and where they are going at the moment.

"i mean i am hungry, i want some good food as soon as we get of this bus." baekhyun said completely oblivious of what he actually meant.

"hey! did you forget already!" taehyung exclaimed slightly hitting the older thigh, cause it was the easiest thing to slap from down there.

" our main goal is finding some stuff for me to wear. did u already forget?" a pout evident on the younger's lips.

yes, he totally forgot. the slightest thought of this hang out to resemble something like a date in baekhyun mind was slapped by taehyung.
he became flustered, blush evident on his cheeks.

"just kidding, you fell for it." he said. not looking at him straight in the eyes made him realize the actually arrived to their destination.

he took both of the younger's hands and made him stand up to take the boy out of the vehicle.

arrived to the mall they went straight to a fast food. baekhyun was really starving. after taehyung convinced baekhyun to pay cause he's the older, they went on to do their task.

one thing taehyung didn't know about the shorter was his fixation of fashion. another thing he didn't know was the fact that he would never send taehyung looking either too pretty or too bad.

after a while baekhyun finally found something they both agreed on. a pair of black jeans and a grey oversized t-shirt with a random print on the front.

taehyung probably already had those two pieces of clothing at home. but running after the older for a pair of hours was not an easy job to do. in the end he just gave in on whatever he chose.

"finally we are done!" taehyung exhaled as he was coming out excitedly of the shop swinging his bag holding his newly bought clothes.

"now i'm hungry. you'll get me an ice cream, because you dragged my along trough the whole place." he smiled brightly as he took the older by the hand bouncing to his destination.

at some point he abruptly stopped, not too far from the ice cream shop. baekhyun confusedly looked at him, then around. there's nothing weird...?

"i don't really feel like eating anymore.." taehyung said weakly smiling, turning back around on his feet.

the older sighed and hold his hand tighter going to the shop.

"you might don't feel like eating but i do."

"nonono, please baek i don't really want to!" taehyung pleaded trying to get away from his tight grip on his hand.

"taehyung?" a familiar voice called the grey haired boy. he froze.

"you are?" baekhyun turned his head deadly glancing at the one who called his friend name.
then glanced at taehyung who looked terrified.

'is he the one he has a crush on? based on his reaction yes, probably.' baekhyun said to himself. his frown softened and checked him out, that's when he noticed a woman clinging to the other arm, an ice cream in hand, probably confused by this awkward situation.

he understood why taehyung randomly lost his appetite.

"hi jungkook, out on a date?" taehyung asked giggling it off.

taehyung knew, the one clinging to his arm wasn't just a "woman". at school a rumor has been going around, saying that the nurse and jungkook have a secret relationship. he thought it was impossible, but maybe it wasn't just a rumor.

after all the nurse was young and really pretty, maybe jungkook preferred older women. he was mortified, for days he was convinced they were going on a date, but he was the only one who thought so.

"oh god, look at the hour we are running late, i need to work! hahaha, it was nice to meet you, but it's gonna be for the next time!"
baekhyun grasped both of taehyung shoulders and directed him outside at a fast pace.

"sigh, what an awkward situation." baekhyun sighed once arrived outside. taehyung sat on a bench looking at the ground, not really crying, just being disappointed for having such high hopes when in reality it was nothing like what he thought.

baekhyun still standing hugged him, laying his head on his.

"oh my dear, don't be sad. maybe it was just a misunderstanding." he didn't reply, just responded to the hug with another one.

"baekhyun."

"hm?"

"i don't wanna see him tomorrow, wanna go on a date instead? you'll treat me ice cream."

"sounds like a plan."even if what happened was an unpleasant event, baekhyun in that moment was very happy. extremely happy.

"not to ruin the moment but i really have to work, hehe."
