Kim namjoon AU!-

Ex lovers meet again after a tragic incident.!

Genre: Angst, love.

"If only all the hot men were not gay. I would fuck all of them in a heartbeat."

You hiss before slapping a hand on your best friends mouth. Your eyes dart around wondering if anyone heard the filth coming out of her mouth.

Your friend rolls here eyes before shoving your hand away, "what? Why are you acting like a prude.."

"It's called common decency Jae, decency." You move your figure around, back to what you were doing before.

The cafe crowd was much slower today. Much much slower. Not having the usual rush made your body even more sluggish.

It also made your friend, jae, run her mouth much more.

"It's the truth!" She exclaims. Her body twists around the counter to collect the cup of mug the previous customer left.

Your eyes wander around for a tip, when you spot none, your shoulders sag down in visible defeat.

"I thought I was going to have a good night. I even went and curled my hair! But he had to be gay." Jae was still grumbling about her late night adventures.

Apparently a gay guy had let her on. As she says, bought her dinner, even made a few suggestive remarks.

You were glad you didn't join her last night and had your 8 hour REM sleep instead.

It was a rare moment with a life like yours. You didn't have the luxury to prance around in clubs.

Or worry about guys.

"Let's just call it a day and close the shop." You finally set the last set of dishes down, wiping your hands clean.

"But it's only 6pm?" Jae raises her eyebrow. You groan as she drops more dishes in the sink.

"Couldn't you have gave me those before?" You twist the tap again. Carefully lathering the cups with soap.

"Why close the shop?" She ignores your remark.

"Are we getting any customers? It's only making me tired. I rather go home and sleep." Your breath hitches as the cup slightly slips from your hand.

A broker cup needs replacement, which required money. That you didn't have.

You often wondered how your life had came to this. Sure you were never the richest but to worry about breaking a cup?

You had a list of bad decisions you made with life, maybe one of those led you here today.

Or maybe what happened 5 years ago.

"We could still get a few bucks Y/N. Rents due next week." Jae slouches against the counter, the word rent causing a ringing sound to surface in your head.
