I wake up to the sound of my alarm going off. I get up and hop in the shower. Hmmm what to wear today.. I just throw on a Yankees jersey and some black leggings with some Jordan's. I put my hair in a bun and put on some makeup. "Hey Mommy" I say ask I walk downstairs. "hey sweetie, ready for school?" "yess!" I say excitedly. I walk outside and meet up with Nat. "Hey Nat, I love your outfit girl." I say. "Thanks T, yours is fresh as well". We get to school and I put on my best smile. We wait in the courtyard before class begins. "And this is where we hangout mainly" Nat says as she finishes her oral tour of the school. I can't keep my eyes off this one boy. He is so hot , he has tan skin, silky brown hair, twin dimples, and has an amazing smile. Nat catches me staring at him "Oooh girl that is Cameron , every girl in this school wants him, he's captain of the basketball team and a total sweetheart." Cameron catches me staring at me and our eyes meet I then quickly look away hoping my blushing isn't obvious. The bell rings and me and Nat part ways. That quick tour Nat gave me isn't helping me right about now, I have to go to the registration office to get my schedule and books, etc. I'm carrying my registration papers in my hand trying not to drop them. I start speed walking and then the most embarassing thing happens.... I bump into someone and my papers go flying everywhere. Oh my god, it's Cameron. "I'm soo sorry" he says as he helps me pick up my papers. "It's fine and thanks" I say as he hands me my papers. "I'm Cameron" he says as we shake hands. "I'm Tiara" "you must be new here" he says. "Yes I am, do you by any chance know where the registration office is" I ask. " uhm your actually standing in front of it" he says as he points to the door. "Haha, I knew that" I chuckle. "Well Tiara I have to get to class, see you around" he sweetly says and walks away. I give him a smile and turn around. I walk in the office and walk up to the desk a heavy-set woman is on the phone. I sit down and wait. "Miss what do you need?" she says as she hangs up the phone. "Hi I'm new here and I need my schedule, locker info, and books." I say sweetly. "Ahh, you must be Tiara, that was your mom on the phone just a minute ago." She hands me my things and i slide them in my backpack. I have Chemistry first period , ugh. I walk in the class and I look around for somewhere to sit. I see Cameron so I walk to the seat next to him. Just as I was about to sit down a blonde haired girl walks up and sits there "Sorry newbie, this seat is taken." a group of girls start chuckling around her. "T sit next to me" Nat says. "FYI that is Amber, Cameron's 'so-called' girlfriend" . Wow my heart sinks , whatever I'm pretty sure I will find a cuter boy. The class goes by fast and my next two classes go by fast. It's time for lunch , me and Nat walk to the courtyard and there's Cameron and his posse. He winks at me and smiles. I just turn my head and keep walking. I walk to the vending machines to buy a soda. "hey Tiara" Cameron says as he walks up to me. "hey" I say bluntly. "Well since you are new I can give you a tour of the neighborhood anytime if you want " he says. My quarter doesn't work so I stop trying. " Look I don't want your girlfriend to get jealous and have the wrong impression so I think it's better if we just stay away from each other" , I say. "Well Amber doesn't bite and she's a really sweet person so I don't think she will mind". "No I am fine anyway I have Natalie" . I quickly walk off to meet back up with that Nat. "Hey girl what did he say?" Nat says with a curious expression. "He wants to give me a tour of the neighborhood and I don't want to spend much time with him considering he has a girlfriend". "Yeah I feel you, but Amber is such a bitch though", Nat says. "Well I just well avoid them both, but anyway what class do you have next?" I ask. "Pre-Cal, do you want to go to a party tonight ?" She asks. "I don't know , considering its my first day but sure ." The bell rings and we part ways heading to our last periods. My last period of the day goes by pretty quick. I see Nat and walk up to her "Hey Nat" "hey T I have a test to take and I will be done in about an hour so you can wait for me or I'll catch you later, but the party starts at 8" "I'll just walk home see ya" , I say as I walk away.
